It truly is Shelley 😀
Live life with a smile on your face...love it
Siem Reap is such fun place
Absolutely 💯, it totally is
Find that hard to accept. Most Cambodians eat white, low nitritious bagets; decent rye and wholebreads baked by ex-pats. And the cakes here are average against what is available elsewhere.
Cambodia ❤❤ you
We love Cambodia
Thank you for Loving Cambodia!
Our pleasure!
Oh Cambodian's have best bakery's in New Zealand

Thank you so much
Most everybody either likes or loves Siem Reap ! --- I do too & never been there - just from seeing how beautiful the city is - how much good food variety there is - and the very low cost of living for frugal people like myself can be had !!! > And the super friendly local people many or most of who speak English. There are some 20K expats either retired or working there of the 140K population for a reason ?!? The heat may be the only real discomfort. (( AC ))
Exactly for all the reasons you just said, definitely the most english speaking we have come across. I didn't realize there were so many expats living there, wow. It is really hot that's the only thing.
@@MidlifeTravelTales > I've heard from several that they have adapted to the heat after living there for some time they got used to it and some don't even use ac ! -- I suspect it's "mind over matter" for some ? They claim fans make it tolerable. -- Early am and late afternoon/early evening living for essentials are best - with afternoon siestas - perfect for retired 'old farts' ? It's about like my lifestyle in the US now. Hope to make it there someday. 😀
I hope you do too. Fantastic place and Angkor Wat is amazing
We loved Siem Reap!
What a great town, totally unexpected
Welcome sir to Cambodia
Thanks so much
Welcome to Cambodia ❤ you guys have a unique South African accent❤
Thank you, yes we are South African
@@MidlifeTravelTaleswe're also from South Africa 🇿🇦. and also loved our trip to Cambodia, particularly Siem Reap. Infact we're considering retiring there next year 🇰🇭 . Great video!
Thank you. That's great, might be a great place to retire. 😀👍
I was there 6 years ago. It looks like it has grown. Angkor Wat was so boring to me. The real gems are the buildings with trees growing through them. Don't miss that! Go to Phenom Penh if you have time. It was a better experience for me.
It probably has grown, we also going to Phnom Penh afterward😀
I hope I’m not wrong ❤
Spot on 😄
Not interested in tour suggestions
Love real experiences of borders
Of opinions of how to deal with cultures
Long pants
Long sleeves
At temples
Simple things to make entrance easy
?
A bit of everything for everyone 😀
Over rated..needs 3 days only to visit temples.
Depends what you like
Enjoy Siem Reap, and Angkor Wat is a marvel. Just don't get carried away. The rubbish is atrocious, people drive atrociously, and have no respect for cyclists and pedestrians, and dog and other noises can be awful at night. And if you are here from April to June, the heat is unbearable, and at night too. And tuk tuk drivers vying for clients can be a hassle!
😀👍
