- Hey everyone back with more Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are racing thruster powered vehicles that ride on drills as the drill block is apparently almost frictionless! This race is almost like driving on ice over hills and every other surface!

A somewhat big brain idea would be to have the drills on bearings, and spin them really quickly to act as reaction wheels for turning.

make a race where you have 2-1 hours in a new survival mode world to find supplys, buld the craftbot and find fuel. at the end of the time evryone meets up at spawn and bulds a car with the collected recourse then evryone races from the ship to the trader (if you don't know where the trader is you'll have to find it during the race) first person to open the trade menu wins.

I have a suggestion for Multiplayer :
A Player Transport race
everyone builds a vehicle that can transport another player and while to players race each other the other two that are beeing transportet use their connection tools to mess with the connections of the vehicle of the player transporting him
do you mean that one player is noseat? If yes the noseatplayer could be a turret or something like that....
@@Zerophil_ I mean that one player is just standing in something like a box or cage that's build onto the transporting vehicle and then messes with the connections while the transporting players race. As example the Player beeing transportet could reverse a bearing or disconnect a motor from the seat. But to make sure that the others could still race there would have to be some restrictions. Something like they aren't allowed to disconnest the motor from all bearings that power wheels or constantly change the same bearing. They might have to be put on a timer so that they can only change something every 10 seconds while beeing transportet. The transporting player of course has to make sure that the transportet player can't fall of during the race. So yeah, the player beeing transported doesn't have a seat.
So the two people in a transport would be on different teams?

kAN's one looks like something you'd see in Robocraft if you replaced the drills with hoverblades. Been a long time since I played that game. I sunk over 500 hours into it, and I haven't played it for years.
Then prepare for... more microtransactions, maybe not that much but like there's a research tree where you unlock items, it's quite annoying sadly.
Suggestion for Multiplayer Monday Races: As soon as the first person wins, the race should end and everyone should have 5 minutes to modify and improve their creation. Then a second race can be help and hopefully it will be more competitive.

Hello Comrade!
Now that individuals have actual health bars in Survival I recommend an obstacle course for the next multiplier Monday.
Examples of traps could be:
1) sawblades
2) crushers
3) explosives
4) moving platforms (fall damage)
5) drowning
6) explosives
Each person could set up 3 different trap sections (that can combine different types of traps) and everybody will have to attempts everybody else's course, for each section you make it through you get 1 point, the person with the most points at the end is the winner.

I think the 4 of you should play a co-op game of Survival together, because as much as I'm loving it, all of you (even John) are starting to sound a little burnt out, or at the very least frustrated by the grind. I hope the devs are watching you crazy kids and listening to your feedback. Keep up the great work, and take care of yourself.
I could see this working well as runners for a chariot-style single wheel contraptions.
As far as this challenge, I wonder if an inline arrangement with a wider steering range would have worked better. Arranged symmetrically at 90 degrees, you get zero-radius turns. On the other hand, you lose translation thrust without extra controls. Honestly, using cactus as a drag anchor at the back might have helped. Humans have some difficulty adapting to low friction enviroments because we're so used to things slowing down and stopping when they're not being pushed.

Found something interesting in scrap mechanic. You know how the bots don’t attack saw blades? The same ai trait applies to unreforged stone, they shy away. I’ve made a little base with them, never felt safer. Muahaha. Thought that might interest ya.
Great idea: pistons launching seats on slabs with drill legs. It's fuel efficient transport, especially on slopes.
You guys should do skid plate racing. It's when people take front wheel drive cars and replace the rear wheels with little sleds. This makes them suuuuuper easy to drift. You guys should build vehicles with powered front wheels and drill bits as skids at the back.

Do a freestyle race! You may build ANYTHING. No limits. But, there will be gates that you have to go through, so you can't just fly to the end.

Moonbo only returned to UA-cam recently after his absence. And Camodo back stabbed them by ditching them after his channel blew up due to brick rigs/spy cakes.and Iballistic squid is a fellow British UA-cam who made scrap mechanic content 2 years ago and exploded in 2013 due to Minecraft. That's what happened....

You could always do something to do with voting in survival on the water. And lay out some barrels on the water and have to make a boat and race round and the fastest time wins.
I have an idea for a race. Team racing where you only control half of the vehicle and have to rely on your teammate to finish the race. To make it more interesting, you could have it where you only building half of the vehicle and weld them together to make a complete car!

Wheeled vehicles, but only freefloating bearings for steering. If you want to turn the wheel, it has to be done by Piston & Control arm
Build a false wall in the back lined with explosives and then set a detonator on his switch so john blows himself up.
A quick Multiplayer Monday idea is to only have 2-5 minutes to build a car of some description.

Please do a scrap yard challenge where you blow up vehicles from your survival. I know you can't save survival creations to make it easier. Then take a black hole gun and a explosive spawner to make it fair. For Multiplayer Monday's.
