How hard is it to find love in this world? How hard is it to open your heart? The pain of being betrayed by the most trusted people in your life is unbearable. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
Wow, 😲 Lydia s story is a bitter sweet one, really an eye opener and a breather after all the sad story's we've been watching, what came to my mind though after watching is how I wish Lydia would be given an opportunity to take Maureen (Mama daviy) to the UK together with her son and husband, when they're through with therapy, that gal is hardworking and a go getter like Lydia, the two would make a good collabo,"business wise". Plus Maureen need a completely fresh start far away from what happened here. In Kenya. I wish Lydia well.
Good job Lydia for the work you are doing. I find that our Kenyans can hardly give support in the diaspora if one is in need. When I landed here first and I was looking for a job. I met a Kenyan lady who killed me with the words she gave me. I went home feeling horrible worthless and vowed to support anybody who requires support. I don't choose if I meet somebody who requires guidance I provide it the best I can.
I have interacted with Lydia in the UK and she is amazing, she says it as it is. Wow! You are so inspiring, what you have gone through, some people would have given up but you kept on, such a hilarious story teller even about some hard situations 😀love your resilience. Very strong woman!💪💪
I love the energy she has. She has gone through alot but she is still strong, focused and very inspiring. I have learnt alot from her story. May God bless her so much. God bless you too Lynn.
I personally know Lydia, our ex-husbands were brothers, I also went through just what she went through...that family Lydia and I got married to, was not a good family at all ..they all seem to not get married, and those of them that marry, don't know how to stay true to marriage....am glad I left...now we'll settled in the USA for the last 22 years, visiting Kenya, also a philanthropist
Doris si wewe uliuwa mtoto wa huyo bwanako kwa sababu ulikuwa umepanga kuhepa kwenda ulaya, hata ukaiba maiti ya mtoto ukazika langata bila family kujua.
@Doris Damaris, don’t you think that it’s unfair generalizing your failed marriages on the entire family, for your info some of them are happily married.you were married to an individual may his soul Rest In Peace but not the entire family.
Doris killed her own dota because she had unfair with another man who had promised her to take to uk. You murdered the child burried her in langata cemetery and eloped with a man to uk. Unaanika watu na siri yako haijifuchi ata kwa mwenyezi mungu. May the father and the dota rip. Idiot
@Doris Damaris, you killed your own dota in that marriage because you were cheating on him with another who promised to take you to the US. You even stole the body of the baby and went burried in langata without family members, despite family arrangements to burry her in her fathers home. Unaanika watu na siri yako haijifichi ata kwa mwenyezi mungu.
Lydia, you're an amazing woman. You have narrated a very painful 17-year-old ordeal in the most truthful, graceful, and yet hilarious way. Thank you for being real and demonstrating great self-accountability. Such an inspiring story Lydia. Never knew you went through all that but have always known that you are a strong and ambitious woman. May God's favour and blessings be upon you.
Great interview. It's good to hear how people overcome adversity. Just like to add though, when one moves abroad, it is important to plan forehand how to legally stay. Having documents eliminates many issues. Secondly, as Lydia rightfully pointed out, set clear boundaries of what you consider disrespectful, and when those boundaries are crossed the first time, just leave.
I live and work in London, my greatest enemies si wazungu or racism, but my fellow Kenyans. I know two fellow nursing colleagues who were sacked because of a fellow Kenyan ( not a rumour, I was in the disciplinary committee). I listened as my fellow Kenyan was rubbished, it was sad, it was a Kenyan on a Kenyan.

We torched each other in the 2007 elections in Kenya, and many other examples. But its true Kenyans in the diaspora don't like each other, 90% of my friends are West Africans. But then again it all comes down to personality.
I don't know why Kenyans literally hate each other everywhere..Even here in Canada I'd rather suffer trying to solve things for myself than ask a fellow Kenyan..They either misguide you or put you in a frying pan..

Am.watching this after Lynn came from UK ❤clearly what we speak through our words surely manifest ,,shw finally visited the place 🎉🎉my take home is drop delete and move on
If you follow well, she eventually got her papers coz “alijipeana” while pregnant and was in a government apartment, most people use that route to get papers in the U.K.
Beautiful story. Men like these will continue to do these evil, silly things because we do not hold them accountable. Know yourself worth so you know what you deserve and don't settle for less than God has for you. God bless you all.
The only thing I want to dispute here, is she says that life abroad isn’t easy. Yes that’s true. It’s as hard as anywhere else. HOWEVER, when you make a mistake and enter the country without proper documentation, life is much much harder. All the people Lynn brings on her show are what would be considered illegal immigrants. Of course their lives are hard. She should also interview Green card recipients who lived abroad unafraid of being reported or deported. When you have only those with negative experiences share, then people don’t get the full picture.
I am a very legal immigrant in the usa and I am depressed. I know it will get easy with time but depression in the diaspora is worse than home cz of lack of community and genuine friends. And don’t tell me to go back home cz I am a fighter not a giver uper.
@@Jojo-pv3uf thanks jojo cz for me it ain’t easy. Not because of lack of opportunities it’s just loneliness and endless visits to an inpatient psych ward. It drains your time, people judge your credibility yaani life has no meaning at all.
@Jojo I’m in the US and I can attest no matter how you go to the diaspora, the first couple years are stressful AND VERY HARD to say the least. No transition is ever easy unless you are being welcomed by YOUR PARENTS who are ready to provide for you from day one!

Aki Lyne, this ladies story is so mine kabisa... my guy I hustled with been together for 8years and this would have been the 9th... and we have lived together for 4 year every day in the same house.. he never had a job I worked hard nikiwa na mimba nimejikaza he went back to school akamaliza the day his clinical medicine licence came out, he introduced me to a new life of his new girlfriends joined tinder tagged cupid badoo n tested all women! When I realised he moved out and told me nimebeat I should date chiefs coz nimenona! Wah we have a 2year old girl he abandoned her too... the mother threatens me to harm the baby if I go to children's office, and the man says my mom is right n don't mention her mpee mtoto kama unataka help... I still in shock wah! But am moving on tu coz God's grace is sufficient

UK is not bad at all . Its depends how come here, without correct papers yes is hard . But with correct papers you can archive what you want.
The best part,Rose, she runs away😂 so funny.
Lydia Olet! Such a great woman. Know her from UK. Kudos mama!
Yani Lydia you can make me laugh till l cry, 😂, ka boyfriend, Lynn l wish you can bring this wonderful lady again.
Lynn I do enjoy your interviews but I don't understand when you continue in your lingo! Can you please, have sub titles when you're talking Kenyan? Your interviews are superb 👌. Thank you and God's blessings 🙌 🙏.
The subtitles are there... just click CC on the video 😊
Please, excuse my ignorance, where do I locate the CC? Thanks and kind regards. 🙏.

Nimeskia tu Lynnn akimaka Shhheeeiii...weeee😂😂😂😂
Truely exposure helps in attitude change
How did she eventually get papers? That would have been useful information for people in the same situation there.
If you follow well, she eventually got her papers coz “alijipeana” while pregnant and was in a government apartment, most people use that route to get papers in the U.K.
Nowadays they give u papers when ur kid turns 7 yrs old if you are lucky, its not easy getting papers tho, been here 22 yrs.
It’s not easy that’s true
@@SilviaM_ They have made it hard,if Homeoffice like u they will accept ur application form ahahahaha
Loved this episode! Lydia is dynamic as is Lynn. So inspiring. I have never heard of Kenya in the Park & will definitely go this year 2023 🇰🇪 🎉
What are your skills? What is your talent? Why can’t we use those? Lydia you really spoke directly to me!
Beautiful story. Men like these will continue to do these evil, silly things because we do not hold them accountable. Know yourself worth so you know what you deserve and don't settle for less than God has for you. God bless you all.
Her English!!!!! Wow! Just wow!
Lyn aki unacheka nafurahi, unalianga saa zingine nalia, this lady is really good
Lydia your message is making me feel stronger 💪
Wow.. I just love you Lydia .. your story is powerful and inspiring too.. LYDIA WAS MY MOM’s name too.. may her soul Rest In Peace 🙏🏽
This story is both funny and inspiring, I wonder ka boyfriend kanaendeleaje? Kudos Lydia
People go through hell! But it makes us stronger so we don’t fall in the same trap again
@@bettyk9771 you got this Betty!!!
@@bettyk9771 girl where are you located? I just moved to DC and don’t have many friends let alone kenyan friends. We can be WhatsApp buddies?
women are the strongest gifts that God has created..we endure so much and still we RISE !!
This is truly encouraging I am in in USA and I feel like I wanna too talk to Lydia or Lynn
