The Attenborough film was made in 1971 on Rillington Place itself, so it wasn't demolished till after that. He filmed one scene in the actual house, when he peeps through the window during the manhole cover search. Other external scenes were done at No.7. Interior shots were done on a film set at Shepperton.
I noticed the front door of number 10 is white here in this demolition footage, did the film makers of '10 Rillington Place' alter the white door for a dark brown one as seen in the 1971 film. I know doorstep scenes were number 7 doubling as number 10, but also in some scenes Attenborough was seen unlocking the door of the real number 10, which was a dark brown door with a door bell, there is one scene where Attenborough was seen in the window of number 10, it is the scene where the London police lift the manhole in the street.
Pity is was all demolished it could have all been done up .you can’t blame the whole street on one horrible man . The ugly houses which are there now look much worse to me
10 was never used all filming was done in number 7 (across the road) as soon as the filming stopped it was demolished now there are flats and car parking area there is a plaque/memorial there I've actually been to the grave of beryl and Geraldine evans in gunnersbury

It was released in January 1971, so filming would've been completed a few months before that.

No Health & Safety back then with noticeable absence of hard hats, safety boots, harnesses etc.

Notice the houses have a 40s look again and the prop swan-neck lampposts back in place . They had just finished the filming of 10 Rillington place
Pretty sure the DVD or Blu-ray has this as an extra feature and I swear it's got audio
