To think that as late as the 1970s there were 250K lions still living in the wild; numbers that would make any wildlife biologist/lover of nature howl with joy today!!! Current lion population estimates range from 30 000 to as few as 16,000 lions living freely. Horrible 😢
She is beautiful to see the Transport Dam pride💞and to know that they are not all there is incredible...it must be something to see them all together. The sub adults are handsome💞it seems to be a pride close to each other, I hope the rest of the pride is well as well as the Transport Dam males💞(which I would have liked to see) and I also hope that they continue to visit this pride from time to time… Thank you for the video🙂
Such a majestic and beautiful sight to witness. Truly one of the largest prides of African Lions on the Savanah. Incredibly healthy and they must control a decent amount of territory. 💪🏻🙏🏻✨
How awesome…!!! Everyone looks so healthy and strong….!! Lots of mouths to feed but lots of supreme lionesses…!! I’m sure their hunts go well..!!HOPE THEY ALL STAY TOGETHER AND RULE THE LANDS…!!!🐾🦁🦁🦁🦁🐾 🐾😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻🐾
Wow there’s TONS of them!! And even tho that’s a lot of mouths to feed they still all look very healthy & well fed! The Mayanbula’s almost have 30 strong, they have about 17 cubs, 6 lionesses & 3 males (I might be off but it’s something like that lol) I would love to see more of this pride. They are absolutely breathtaking. Gorgeous!!!! I love them all!!! ❤❤❤❤
@@falanajerido875yes it looks like there’s only sub adults & no cubs. The 2 pride males don’t spend much time with this pride, they’ve been busy with some females in the Renosterkoppies pride. So maybe that’s why there’s no cubs.
Thats cool usually they would breakaway when this large so they must be able to provide enough food for them all to stay at this number super cool to see
That's more like a herd of lions instead of a pride. I counted around 35 lions and that means there must be 40 plus. Never knew lion prides could outnumbered herds of elephants, cape buffalo, zebras, antelope, dogs and hyenas. Hope they keep an eye on this pride so we can see more of this majestic pride.
Herds of Cape buffalo are massive -- can vary from about 300-400 members, but may contain as many as 2,000 in a mixed herd, & the “Common” eland (a species of antelope) can live in large groups of up to 500. Savannah elephants can sometimes join together & comprise of up to approx. 70 in a herd, but the Forest elephants w-approx. 20.
THANK YOU FOR THIS SUPERB VIDEO!👑 They all look in great health and this siting is most beautiful! WHAT SCARED THEM OFF? I was just enjoying the large count😊 Thank you!🦁
How can they survive when the dry season is long? If they can communicate in a language that both of them can understand, I would suggest that they join in migrating following mammals, including zebras, forest buffalo/bulls, etc.
For having to feed so many mouths, it seems that the lioness mothers do it very well. It helps a lot to that pride that there is no lion cub since everyone after the lionesses are already young lions about to enter adulthood.
Wow! Fabulous! Who are they running from? Where are the males? Is it a breakaway from a pride?💥 soooo lovely! These only need careful Buffalo 🐃 hunts😛 impala, topi all deer 🦌 species would be insufficient for those massive numbers. 🦁🦁🦁💥pls keep us updated, thanks 👍🏾
There is normally too many lionesses born to each mother, I think natural selection make it possible for a lioness to also survive those first few months.
What is the reason they fled,am i hearing roars in the background? Please share if you know.Amazing queens and beautiful subadolts sharing love and bonding, tnx for this 🦁🤟.

What are the names of the 2 pride males ? I knew before a few years that there's a coalition of 3 males colled the transport dam , are they the same males ?
I'd like to know how many lionesses are in the pride, that's the long-term measure of pride size as cubs are born, die or grow up. I saw at least half a dozen, though adolescent females may not be easily distinguished from the adults while the scruffy teenage boys can.
Wow lot of awesome Queens, probably 2 to 3 males
It's rare to see this mega pride in wildlife. You can imagine how wild beasts thrived in ancient times without human interference.
Yeah, elephants traveled 200 plus a hundred years ago. Good observation.

Yeah wild dog packs used to be 100 strong

@@Tara_P_Rose Now i want you to look at his other video. 2 males lions, and 10 cubs, and lionesses you will love that one

What a great pride..😍🦁
That really is the largest pride I’ve ever Sean. 😊😊their numbers make them strong. They must control a huge amount of territory.
WOW!! Stunning video of a powerhouse pride of such so magnificent creatures!!! Bless you all!!! Amazing Lions!!!
Wow, a pride of sub-adults and teenagers 😀❤️❤️😍😍❤️😀
Fantastic pride. Great seeing the Transport Dam pride. What two males control this pride?? They are stunning males. Does anyone know?? 💜💜🥰🥰
Thanks for posting!! This is a once in a lifetime to see this incredible sighting!!!
Do you know why did the lions running and hiding behind the bushes at the end of the video?
Most likely the truck is making them scared. I’ve seen this several times and I’m figuring poachers
Maybe the King is approaching and he's pissed of no one has made a kill.
@@funguykel no they’d greet him . Listen you can hear a vehicle
I thought maybe an elephant herd? Was coming their way.
thanks for the update. 👍
Beautiful video lions and park 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
The lioness dont get alot of credit feeding and protecting all them off springs wow.
I counted 13 lionesses

There must be a great source of food in the area. Otherwise, they would probably split into separate prides.
They never miss a meal
They're beautiful need a king we need some cubs you know they're great hunters
I don't think they would have a problem with feeding...👍
I like how the mother and her older son were licking each other so beautiful to see..
it is a wonderful sight. a spectacle worth appreciating. It's a pretty big pride. although I see something strange: no cubs! 🤔
Dejadlos en paz por favor. Dejadlos en paz!!!
Great family
Wow! That's a lot of lions. Weren't you afraid with all of them coming at you? "Yikes let's get out of here".
biggest one we've seen was 23 near Malelane some 20 years ago

So beautiful and majestic. Such a pity their home has been reduced to Piccadilly Circus in order for them to survive.
Hyenas will never push these numerous ladies off a kill.
Haven’t seen the male yet

Is there a male lion in this pride?
There must be a lot of fighting at meal time.
Especially if they kill a gazelle.
Its like watching a parade of Elephants only Lions
Because, 4x4 is coming to check them out... I mean humans... Who love to see.. Those super crazy cool lions... 😎😜💚💙🍀🌳🌱🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🍀🌳
Family.
I counted up to 13?? That many cats and something spooked them and they took off running away??
I saw a lot of males both young and old. If they stick together I see the potential of possibly the biggest Male Coalition in the making here.
Such a brave camera man
Beautiful super pride
nice but put a windshield on your mic!sounds terrible..
The most beautiful felines in the whole world ♥️🙏🏻💚👏
Where are the babies?
I'm guessing the two who were not spooked to run away were the matriarchs

Where are tiger boyz?
this shows that Lions are more intelligent than tigers
Mostly mothers and daughters, with adolescent males soon to be booted out I'd say
