Ah if only---I'm so fed up of looking at skintight ripped jeans, dirty trainers and sloppy t shirts everywhere. Both sexes wear them and they all look the same. So boring with no style.
@Manbrony (The Divine Ponies, 🇬🇧 Charles 3) I'm sad to tell you that in Asia it is probably not possible. The best place to do this is Europe. I've already gone out with uniforms of the early 20th century and noone "cared" which is good.
Unfortunately from my experience that gives way to bullying so makes sense why men don’t dress like this since it makes them look different and stand out Disclaimer: I fully support this style and I dress this way myself just giving an answer to why most men dont
So artistic and elegant but I know behind the polished facade is quite a nice and educated, hard working guy with an excellent sense of humor, which makes it all even better.
What a gorgeous video! Beautiful scenes and calming music. If only men would dress like this again! How did we get to all the tatty ripped jeans, dirty trainers and sloppy t-shirts from this elegance and style... The time period of 1900-circa 1950 is when men looked the best ever.
God I love this man... That's pure style and attention to details. I wish fashion had never changed since, but I suppose that's quite an unrealistic desire. Mein Herr, Sie sind einwandfrei.
Even the working-class outfit is classier than most of what we wear today. I love your videos - the detail in the outfits, the beautiful filmography - thank you so much for everything you do. :)
I know! I've seen photos of poor men from the 1920s/30s and they look better dressed than middle class blokes today. I wish more men would get into vintage style!
Please please don't stop doing UA-cam videos you are an inspiration. I've come to the channel very late but have watched all the videos 3 or 4 times. Thank you for your attention to details.
There is no existence of uncertainty,I truly encourage others accompanied by myself to keep this style alive in the entirety of our lives. It is definitely an exquisite way to portray your artistic style with respect to clothing. Every possible locomotion made by him conveyed the actual definition of 1920's. I would recommend the reader to purchase the basic constituents of such attire. You will definitely look way more selective than others.
I'm a person who lives in the 1940s, I'm happy to see another person who shares the similar fashion, also in a historically accurate way. Have a good day, sir.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and based on your recommendation I am slowly building my Edwardian wardrobe from garments purchased from Darcy Clothing. I really admire your style and am so happy to have found your channel. Greetings from Canada :)
Me too. I got a striped shirt, tall rounded collar and moleskin fishtail-back trousers from Darcy. Their materials and quality in general is first class and worth the money because they are the kind of workmanship that lasts for a long time, the way clothes used to. I love the Edwardian styles too.
This is great! I love the business look. It would be fun if you could do a video like this for the 1930s aswell, but I know you mostly have 1920s clothes. Anyway, your content is at it's peake in quality, keep going strong, you are the best!
Well done! I love the elegance of fine clothing, yet appreciate your inclusion of working class wear. I live in Tucson Arizona; as I write this it is 111 degrees outside. It will be hotter tomorrow. Since the Gadsden purchase classic European fashion had an influence here but this Tucson was (and still is) a frontier a working town, and I am always interested to learn more about working class dress as well as how upper class fashion was adapted for the heat!
You make this look so cool! I remember being made fun of as a kid because I had to wear neckerchiefs and undershirts to protect my collar/clothing from some of my sweat on the farm. Now as a trans man I kind of wish to reclaim some of these in men’s fashion as it seems our ancestors also had a similar sense of practicality when it came to protecting our clothing. To see the separate collar pieces and how beautiful the adornments are makes me happy as a sewist that as a trans man I can still sew for myself and maybe reincorporate some of these more historical methods of wearing and styling things. It just makes sense for keeping things crisp and white. Your film making style and garments are lovely as always!❤
Not sure if I should write here in English or German lol. I really enjoyed the fact that you went from working class over bourgeoisie to high society and how you put hints to little stories to the different styles/characters - especially the gun part was a nice plottwist.
What a beautifully filmed and orchestrated film. Elegance, style and charm. I would love to wear these types of stylish clothes but, certainly in the country, you would be so out of place that it would be painful. In London?, maybe except for the spats. Edwardian - a loose term based upon the Name of the King and not the start and end of a men’s clothing phase - fashion for some was so stylish. As was the Cary Grant period in the late 40’s and 50’s

Lovely video, even gangsters and working class looked put together.
Lovely production; it is very gratifying to come by a channel such as yours. You know what you are talking about and there is an absence of histrionics, hand gestures and hype, just beautiful dress presented with elegance. Subscribed.
Thank you very much, what a wonderful video. People should pay more attention on their appearance - not for the public/social-media-trash, but for their own.
I'm under the impression that lapels weren't as wide in the 1920s but I do love to see them. I didn't know they wore off-white bowties with tuxedos in the 1920s.
Thanks to your channel I discovered that I really like wearing a waistcoat without a jacket, it never fails to look good on occasions and days where I don’t want to take a jacket with me. P.S. Didn’t expect the gun, haha...
Wow...just WOW!!!! Exquisite...well done, beautiful...okay, I will dispense with the superlatives. Needless to say, I enjoyed this video. The lat 4 outfits were sublime (oops...there I go again). Cheers!

Oh this is quite useful, as I'm learning German
Sick fits bro...ahem very well coordinated classic menswear outfits, sir.
Much better, the vulgar way people speak these days.
Imagine everyone to be as stylish as this guy 🤯
it used to be this way, more or less, even the poorest man wouldn't leave his humble house without a jacket and a hat
There was a time when this was the norm
I’m only in my 60s and I remember when men never went out without at least polishing their shoes first.
i hope so
@@JAG214 how I'd pay for that to return lmeo
We need to bring back this style. Everyone looked so classy, even the working class outfits look great.

@@timefortea1931 Agreed!
i dont think i agree with the working class part im also not very fond of the country look but the hole rest is very lovely
As a woman, I really would love for modern men to dress more like this. It's such a timeless style and makes everyone look elegant.
I wish to dress like this. I’m 19, but I find this fashion the best

@Manbrony (The Divine Ponies, 🇬🇧 Charles 3) Bro, what's wrong? You can't dress this way in Asian countries?

That is what a man should be. Polished and elegant when he should, but always educated and ready to work

About time someone did a working-class outfit! Fantastic outfits, my friend.
Very stylish, I like most that you took the time to show a working class outfit at first...great looks!
Wow, I want to dress like that! The Edwardian era is the favorite era of me and my girlfriend!
Both of you could support each other by wearing the Edwardian styles.
And just like that, with a single video, 2020 doesn't seem so bleak.
This was perfect. Thank you Niklas!
Awww, thank you!
Its officially the 20's so I've decided that I'm gonna dress the part
Go for it and break away from sheeple fashions. If more people do likewise, it will become more accepted.
Do it, I'll join
@@jazzman1626 who cares about acceptance. It’s not like anyone’s getting shot for dressing differently.
@@Aethelhadas wait did you mean that in a sarcastic way or did you actually mean that?
@@platinumvulture1122 I actually mean it
Surely the best dressed man in Cologne...
In those times men looked stylish a lot not like now .Excellent video from the cloths to the music well done.

Now I finally found someone, many.

My husband dresses like you as a matter of course. He's stylish that way.
Detachable collars rule! Your elegance is phenomenal.
"The Stroller" was my personal favorite look on him!!

True! I love them good 'ol days where when u got to work you looked ergonomic _AND_ stylish 👌👌

Seeing such elegance has a nice calming effect.
I wish for this style to be back! Desperately
The style, music, and images perfectly placed together. I feel as if I have gone back in time, while feeling nostalgic.
I'm taken aback through time when I see you in these outfits, it's amazing how a few articles of clothing can do that so well.
