Duruflé Suite Opus 5 - Toccata - Julien Bret - Saint Ouen, Rouen (3/3)

Maurice Duruflé (11 January 1902 -- 16 June 1986), one of the most gifted pupils of Charles Tournemire, wrote this Suite in 1932. This, the famous Toccata, is the second of three pieces (the others being the Prélude and Sicilienne), performed by Julien Bret on the 1890 Cavaillé-Coll organ in the Abbey Church of Saint-Ouen in Duruflé's home-town of Rouen.
