- Maushumi Bhowmik doesn’t seem to attach much significance to the idea of a solo performer or a singer-songwriter. The examples, right from Lalon to Dylan are by and large abundant. However, she admits the historical significance of Suman’s emergence as an artiste and the political content of his songs which was connecting the audience. She shares her experience of singing those songs to a crowd who could directly relate to the songs and that was even before Suman’s album was released.

"Nachiketa didn't matter to me, but Suman did". Suman is nowhere near to Agunpakhi ma'am. You won't be able to understand Nachiketa. He is a man of high intellect and ideology. Both Suman and you tasted success for a very short period of time and you two don't even have your songs which inspire people. Sumans "tomake chai" and your "ami shunechhi shedin" are the only noteworthy songs.On the other hand Nachiketa is still relevant and still is successful with houseful shows. Nilanjana,Rajyashri,Poulomo,ei Besh Bhalo Achi, Chor, tumi ki amay bhalobasho, bridhhashram,shrabono ghonay, e mon Bakul Jokhon tokhon,ontobihin poth, swapper feriwala,kono ek Meye, kalo Meye,chol Jabo toke nie,ei ague hath,tumi ashbe bole,jokhon shomoy,ei toh jibon,jonota jonardhon,nana chaina,kore michhil,pacemaker,hey bhogoban,dalchhut,ke jay,ki hobe,bhoy,onno premer gaan,pothbhola hote chai, sarkari kormochari, daktar,its a game,shatabdi,halla bol AND OTHER NUMEROUS SONGS ARE STILL RELEVANT SO HAHA HE DIDNT MATTER TO YOU !
