Bro, you made me loved cars. Back in the days, i used to know nothing about cars, but now i have little information about them as im watching your videos every day.
I remember diesel gate ⛽️ 😅 Do you? Now tell us this touched 6.5L/100km and and I'll remind you of Diesel gate. 😂 Even if it is a hybrid - those figures are a dream 😄
You can get a Ford everest platinum v6 fully equipt and still have change of R500 000 and it's more powerful and is still modern and you still get an extra row of seats that can fit adults and if you don't want to use that third row you can lay them down for an even bigger boot space
I love this car and my bro in law loves it maybe I’ll get it for him 😊😅 But isn’t it funny VW is also known Like other brands to have a huge option list and even a vivo has options 😅but suddenly to be clever to say here is our best car everything is standard 😮 just do that with most of the models actually it would be better than always having to spec cars😮 Lovely review bro💁🏾♂️🏆🐎
Lexus RX 500h F Sport is also another great option. Has more or the same street cred as the Touareg. Plus, the RX 500h F Sport has a very healthy 273 kw
@@thabsmashego676Agreed, but the Touareg is still reasonable for its price point for a new car, im not the biggest person on SUVs, but this one stands out.
I think this is the preverbial Chinese vehicle of high emd luxury cars - i.e it's bang for buck and it's a really good car and basically cheaper than the competition. Great detailed review, after watching this I see the value in it however, id only buy a demo or used. Still don't think the price is worth it. If it was R1.55m to R1.59m then I think it would have hit the nail on the head
I'd rather buy an Omoda C9, Jaecoo J7, or the incoming Jaecoo J8, Haval H9, GWM P500. We are spoiled for choice, these legacy brands are ripping us off with prices
I own a C9 and it's a very good car but its not in this league. Infact none of the Chinese cars available in SA can compete with Large luxury SUV's. In mid size, yes those cars are much better than what's available from the legacy brands
The only VW i love is the Touareg. However, i have heard lots of complaints about parts availability. The engine can be more powerful, i think it is borrowed from the Amarok (** I stand to be corrected). I'd buy it nevertheless, used though not new.
@kumbimoncars I have came across two people who were complaining. Apparently the vehicle doesn't sell, so they don't invest in parts that much. Parts have to be imported from Germany and it takes a lot of time for them to arrive.
@itsibzz4770 the engine on this is not only in the 1st gen AMAROK but you find it in the AUDI Q7,Q8,A6,A7,A8 and in other VW group brands that have a V6 diesel in their model range. The part that the 2 owners were struggling with which part was it? Cause sometimes it does happen with any manufacturer that certain dealerships don't restock all the parts in their inventory they only order when needed but keep the basic parts that are everyday consumables for general service repairs on most models that come in cause remember dealerships are franchises and have independent owners so sometimes a part that doesnt fail alot or need replacement on short intervalsdoesnt not need to be orderedand stored in the parts room to collect dust and wait for 4yrs till 1 owner eventually comes to buy it..

this car has not changed at all form the previous model...is this some kind of a facelift sir? the price also is way too much for what the car is to be honest. 1.7million..haibo🤭😂
@@kumbimoncars that makes it even worse..lol. why spend 1.7mil on a facelife when a new model is due which might probably be same or closer to that price but with perhaps new features and so on
I couldn't disagree more. I think if you really know the tech that is in this VW and compare it to the Chinese brands/cheaper VWs, you'll notice that there is a massive difference. Not even to mention the engine
You are growing as a car Journalist Kumbi, keep pushing bro❤
Thank you so much. This means a lot to me 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Basically this is a more affordable Porsche Cayenne, brilliant review by the way, keep up the good work. I like how detailed this review is.
Thanks, appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment🙏🏽🙏🏽
I see myself owning this later in the year im in to comfort and good consumption.Nice review my brother.
Excellent choice 👍🏾👍🏾

I hear that
I agree, the build looks solid 👌.
It is indeed!
The review I've been waiting for🔥🔥🔥You definitely delivered✅️ what a machine 🙌
Thanks for watching! I’m glad
Vw and Interior its a match made in Heaven🔥

Enjoyed every minute of this review 😍😍
Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks Kumbi👌this is an exquisite car and well priced 🔥🔥
You are very welcome! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
great looking car. 11:48 100% true; that armrest is a dissapointment
Yup
2 minutes into the video without saying 'obviously' and/or ' essentially' , good improvement.😂
😂😂😂. Trying my best, thank you!
Awesome detailed review 🎉
Glad you liked it

Lovely review bro💁🏾♂️🏆🐎
Thanks for watching and the kind words bro!
are you watching out for the lexus gx might be the same price
True.
its amazing🥰

Front or rear wheel drive?
All wheel
Lexus RX 500h F Sport is also another great option.

I’m glad you are considering other options as well, I guess it all depends on what is most important to you.
I love this SUV, but for the price range, i feel the X5 30d is the one to pick
A pre owned X5?
@@kumbimoncars yes, you can get a nice spec X5 30d with 4000 km on the clock for around R1.7 M.
Demo models 👌🏾

Love the rain Shots!
Thank you!
Does the Touareg use the same engine as the Amarok?
Previous gen amarok yes
Yes
VW is currently selling a brand new one for R1.3 Mill

Amazing take 👏🏾👏🏾
I think the base model starts at R1,5mil
Toureg ,Urus, RSQ8, Velar , and Cayenne GTS... this league is very competitive
Besides the Touareg, all the products you mentioned are all about R2M 😭
Is it AWD?
All wheel
we are within :)
Dankoooo

I can tell you that those cars are in two different leagues.
Facts!!!!

Really? That’s the first I have heard coz I always assumed VW and parts were always available. I’m with you on used too

Beautiful Car Mara pricing 😢
Yeah the pricing is a bit of a bummer
I dont get the obsession with car makers quoting hefty prices for these products... no wonder they are going under
The arm rest is an eye sore but the car looks good
Agreed.
You posted Mercedes Benz A Class 200d on Instagram but never made it to the UA-cam channel
Yes, I unfortunately did not post it. Will try find it again and edit the footage.
The price of this car is the only problem for me, mainly cause as in 3 years it’s not gonna be worth even half of that R1.7m👐🏾
🤝🏾
R1.7 million is a bit over piriced yes 1.2 would have been great but its my opinion
1.2 for a 3L V6 with so much tech, luxury etc? This is the same car that shares everything with a Porsche cayenne.
@kumbimoncars I disagree my bro cha no then how much is a RSQ 8 audi it's the same car you know
Id rather buy the BMW X5 top spec for that amount of money 💰
Fair

Most underrated premium SUV vehicle❤
Totally agree!
Overpriced. Like all VW. Looks sick though. Tech wise, it's dated when compared to Chinese ice cars, nevermind Chinese EVs

No VW is worth 1m
This one is
Why not?
Lol you probably a BMW fanatic they have one of the best resale values just like Toyota 😅
That grille is so hideous
Yoh I tend to disagree
It's getting stolen as we speak :))
Eh
ZAR 1 700 000 😂 Complete rip-off !
