Of all the ways to introduce your big villain, they choose a scene of him having a personal moment staring at a piece of art. Showing his vulnerability to a woman he's interested in. Such a brilliant character.

John Curcio I'm on episode eight, and I'm hesitant to go forward because I DON'T want to see Fisk go down. Ugh. They're making me feel so bad for him, and wanting him to win.

The man who pretty much has it all in Hell's Kitchen, yet he feels alone, which is why he admires the painting.

It's much more interesting after realizing that this painting is a reflection of the wall that Fisk looked at just after murdering his father.
They showed this in the scene just after the murder, one of the most traumatic moments from his childhood.
He murders his father, then looks at their white wall, really emphasizing the importance of this scene, and really showing just how vulnerable Fisk truly feels deep down.

Absolutely right about their chemistry. Still, I strongly believe it is because of this magic Ayelet Zurer displays on screen. She always look stunning with different male costars. I can easily name Gal Toren in Loosing Alice, Eric Bana in Munich, Tom Hanks in Angels and Demons, Clive Owen in Last Knights, Michael Aloni in Shtisel, Robert Gant in Milada, and so on. She is a magnificent actress!

Wilson ruled over Hell's Kitchen, but Vanessa ruled over him. I really loved the dynamic between Wilson and Vanessa. I thought the actor and actress had great chemistry and it's not every day you see a love story between villains. I thought it was refreshing and showed Wilson in his own mind was the hero of this show...until he came to his epiphany in the prison convoy (I AM THE ILL INTENT!)

Whats even more incredible about this scene is they chose have it follow another scene were a true psychopath killed himself (in a really brutal way) out of fear for merely mentioning his name. This is the best way to introduce a villain i've ever seen.

Indeed! However, Hollywood owns her more relevant roles. Something huge to boost her acting. She is a diamond but she is not at Julia Roberts or Nicole Kidman’ level in the industry. obviously it’s not because of the lack of talent. Ayelet’s acting is by far superior to some actors and actresses in Hollywood they just need to paid more attention to her.

And I thought Micael Clark Duncan was going to be my favorite Kingpin. Though this Kingpin is different from the one in the comics or Duncan's. Still he could change a bit more.

The key difference between Michael Clarke Duncan and Vincent D'Onofrio I feel is their confidence...Michael has already become the Kingpin, and revels in his dominance. Vincent is a person who knows what he wants, but doesn't know who he is.

She didn't mean to, but she did give a good summary of my problem with so much modern and contemporary art - skill? the qualities of the art itself? Bah, irrelevant!

I think this Kingpin is way better then Michael Clarke Duncan's Kinpin, why? Because the show establishes this character more time to be fleshed out and gave it more backstory development. 2003 movie was flat, good portrayal but the characterization was downright flat, use to be a bodyguard for a mob boss? check. kill mob boss and become kingpin? check. That was it, no more no less. Now the one on Netflix stayed true to the origins.

Ron Ramc Nah, it’s actually not. Of all the white paintings I’ve seen, this one stands out for me. The way the different shades of white are used gives it a unique texture that I haven’t seen in any other all white paintings. It could also just be a result of the lighting and editing, which is partially why I want to find the original artwork.

fisk blows up lots of buildings and iron man doesn't hear anything about it. Where is he during all this? New York is his home base.I've came up with a scene that's both realistic and cost to pay the actor.Jarvis: Sir, I'm getting reports of buildings in Hell's Kitchen being blown up. You may want to check up on that."Tony: I'm on it.He Heads down to his room that's filled with many of his iron suits Tony steps in front of one, ready to put it on. He gets a message on his phone to sees what it says. The message says they can't pay him a lot like the movies can.Tony: You know what? I think I'll let someone else deal with it, I'm sure there is a super hero out there already that I didn't hear of and will over look in a movie that has a bunch of other super heros fighting each other.

According to the MCU timeline, the events of Daredevil Season 1 are con-current with the second half of Agents of SHIELD, Season 1. This means that all the Avengers are busy tracking down HYDRA bases all over the world. None of them are in New York.
Also, even if they weren't looking for HYDRA, they all had legitimate reasons for not being around to stop Fisk. For example, Tony at that time didn't have any Iron Man suits, seeing as how he blew them all up and had his arc reactor removed at the end of Iron Man 3. He was building everything back up.
Before you ask "Where was Thor/Cap/Hulk/Widow/Hawkeye?", here are your answers:
-Thor was off-world, repairing the damage Malekith did to the Nine Realms
-Cap was off the grid, looking for Bucky with Sam Wilson
-Banner tries to keep as low a profile as possible, considering the destruction he's capable of
-Widow was avoiding the public eye as well, seeing as how SHIELD and HYDRA were essentially the same thing at that point, and she revealed all of HYDRA's secrets (as well as her own from her time as a KGB operative) on the Internet
-Hawkeye was another SHIELD agent/HYDRA operative, so his name is being dragged through the mud along with Widow's
