We should support people playing “low tiers” at a high level instead of dissing. In NA we see the same dogmatic meta of Jokers, Clouds, and pyra mythra meanwhile these players are doing something new, unique, creative, and interesting. And it’s also strong and clearly viable/competitive at a professional level
How are you going to put Joker and Cloud in the same vein as Aegis when there's only one good cloud in NA and barely any Joker (including Leo) who can consistently make top 8 at majors anymore. There are way more Jokers and Cloud in Japan than the US or even NA as a whole. What kind of propaganda is this?
Honestly, doing that well against a pyra/mythra is basically winning. You know Kept would've won if Cosmos wasn't playing as a character that's horrifically overpowered.
@SuperSwagdood probably one of if not Isabelle's worst matchups Actually, she can't afford to ve too close to Mythra bc of her frame data that straight up beats Isabelle. So she has to try to stay back because after one or two Mythra combos her light weight allows her to be at the perfect percent for a stray hit to straight KO her. Not to mention Isabelles disadvantage is almost worse than Pyra/Mythra in this matchup because Isabelle's landing and Ledge options aren't that great. And if kept mis-spaces or unsafely hits Pyra's sheild up B out of sheild just deletes his stock upwards of like 90% with good DI.(Cosmos actually could've done that a couple of times) Just a rough time for Isabelle overall. Honestly surprised Kept was able to hold his own.
I heard it's because Sumapa has a very limited time window and they want to make sure that everyone can actually make it back home (via public transport).
Better player didn't win. Imagine playing an op mash to win dlc character and then a funny silly dog take you to last hit situation... cosmos is by far the worst "top" player
Kept was playing way too aggressively. He lost the last game and the second game because he's mashing the A button like his life depends on it whenever he has advantage, or using double jump f-air to get back on the ledge. He already got hit by Pyra using n-air to get out of disadvantage and nearly died for it, and didn't adapt to it and then died to it when Cosmos used it again. Isabelle's advantage isn't tight enough for him to be going all in like he was. If he was patient and just shielded n-air, then punished with Up-Smash, he would have won. Up-Smash is frame 9 and only -12 on shield. I know I'm no top player but it's a ridiculous fucking move that he rarely uses, but I imagine it's probably because he's primarily a Villager main and Isabelle is a secondary. Given that Cosmos has likely 0 real experience against a good Isabelle main, this was probably like a 4-6 matchup at worst for Isabelle. Hell, it might even be that normally. Isabelle is super underrated and Pythra is omega overrated because people don't know how to fight her online. She's just a corny character that is tilting to play against because she's extremely annoying until you get her offstage. People in this game have a habit of assuming top tier vs low tiers in this game are nigh unwinnable match-ups because that's how it was in Brawl and Smash 4, but most of them outside of Little Mac, Dedede, and Ganondorf are very doable.
People like the commentary but I personally don't. It's like he's telling a blind person what's going on. I like it when the commentators guess what's going on in the players head, have amazing reactions to big moments, talk about stats, etc..
I can't stand that style of commentary where you have two people who both think they're a hype man and then barely talk about the set at all. Drives me nuts, I feel Ultimate has the worst commentary in the FGC

joker? meta?
@@Sancnea jp hype is the meta now lol
so you are saying that anyone who genuinley likes playing one of those characters just does it cause they get to win.
This argument made sense up until the first sentence 😭

My boy Kept, noooo. 😢
Sammmmeeee... Kept is so likeable

How tf did Sakurai think isabelle and mythra should be in the same game
The same way ganon has no kill throws and steve has a super strong up throw
@@greedo194 poor ganon. Even his extremely risky up b is just a decent throw. Sigh.
@@greedo194sonic has back throw too LOL what the hell wait why doesn’t Ganon have a kill throw fk this game
@@jontaii152 pika up throw also kills lmao

really good work solo commentating this set!
this matchup is so bad for isabelle 😭

I respect commentators that make it clear they don't like a character.
You know that if he lost that EE and Light would've memed him to hell and back
First time he’s ever clutched
History has been made, and shivers have been sent across the entire Smash scene
First time he's clutched and it was against a low/bottom tier with a bad MU
@@hunbi1875 boooo you stink
my fav set is when chunky kong smoked him @@hunbi1875
I was genuinely surprised, he should have lost on that high Mythra side B.
commentary is so good here
Kept's isabelle fought valiantly 🥲
Great commentary
MY BOY!
Kept is damn good tho. But good shit Cosmos
really good neutral commentary!
Cosmos was about to be shamed badly
So strange the commentator is knowledgeable but just says the wrong name for moves haha
Not a single b reversed pocket to land with Isabelle...
I think this is the hardest matchup for Isabelle
Comos is just so bad. How could you be maining PM for so long, but not even knowing how to confirm off of your SideB??
Very competitive set for how bad the isabelle Aegis match up is
Why just bo3 in LFs? 😭
