Wow, it looks awesome! Sometimes the decor/theming of a Disney restaurant and worth not quite top tier food. I haven’t been out to Disneyland in almost 20 years (I went on my honeymoon ) but I can’t wait to go back and take my kids. I actually went to Disneyland as a kid before WDW so my core memories are or that park! Not the WDW isn’t amazing. But the nostalgia of Disneyland can’t be beat! On a side note, I just got back from my trip to Coronado springs and oops, I seem to have somehow already booked a 2nd honeymoon for next summer. I didn’t get into the parks on this trip (it was amazing anyway!) but man, did it give me Disney fever! We are staying at Caribbean Beach if you need an excuse to review that resort lol! Anyhoooooo, I’m loving all this Disneyland/CA content! So glad you made it out there, its such a great area of the world to visit.
Sup Demi! This is cool! It reminds me of San Angel Inn and Gran Fiesta Tour in Epcot. Which one is the better combo?🤷🏻♂️ I would definitely be ordering a drink with rum to honor Captain Jack Sparrow (unless you can’t do that in Disneyland)…”But why is the rum gone?!?”🤣
I'm team sweet, though I go back and forth between sauces sometimes! Its interesting the Cafe Orleans serves their Monte Crisco with fries, as it seems a better value?
Any suggestions on how to score a water side table? I’m 57 and a life long Disneyland guest but could not afford to eat here until later in life. The first time was in 2009 - food and service were very good but our table was close to the entrance with no water view. I have a reservation coming up in September and would love to sit by the water. Ideas? Thank you!
I would go to the restaurant before your reservation on the same day and ask for a waterside table for your upcoming reservation and hopefully they can accommodate your request!
@@MagicalHijinx Thank you! That’s my plan 💕 I read somewhere that during busy times, which seems to be every day nowadays, they have two queues, one dedicated to water side tables … we will definitely give it a try!
I love DLP and their castle but the experience I had at Captain Jack’s was the worst Disney dining experience I’ve ever had. As for the Monte Cristo, I like the jam because I love the sweet-savory combo and with the saltiness of the deli meats, I actually think amping up the sweetness is the way to go.
We had annual passes for dlp back in 2019, tried a lot of their dining options. Never really found anything we liked. Good thing Paris is 40 minutes away 🙂
@@MagicalHijinxwell that's not how we say it in New Orleans or Louisiana 🤷🏽♀️ How are yall going to decide how to pronounce a city's name that you don't even live in?

The Monte Cristo is one of my favorite foods at DL! I didn’t get to have one my last trip. You got a good table spot.
I know! I couldn’t believe we got that seat!
Food looked delicious! Can you show a dessert next time.
Next time!
What were your thoughts on that Monte Cristo vs. the one at Chocolate Emporium in Universal Orlando?
I like Blue Bayou, but I will not stress over getting a reservation. We went in March and the food was good.
I think that’s a great way to look at it!

Haha you can at the restaurant!
Wow nice r restaurant you had me at the barbecue chips 😂😂
Right!!

I love that they both have different sides to have some differences! I did really like the chips tho!
This was great when I went years ago, but so dark lol
Definitely dark! It’s very jarring going back outside into the light lol
Where can I make reservations?
On the Disneyland app or website!

I honestly didn’t remember the food, but my overall time at DLP when it came to food was mid.
TBH I much prefer Cafe Orleans…the ratatouille risotto there is better than any vegan option at Bayou!
I’ll have to try next time!
Buen dia
Thank you!
Totally agree. The food at Disneyland Paris is disappointing. Such a shame as the main park is gorgeous
So gorgeous! Hopefully it has gotten better since I was last there!

We enjoyed Walt’s last summer.
The city is not pronounced "New Or-leeens" lol
That’s how we say it in New York 🤷♀️
