- Museum District Parking at the Miracle Mile in the Wilshire District of Hancock Park
There are 4 major museums in this area. We explore and tell you about 6 different parking options in the area.
Our main outlook is cost, Safety, and ease of finding a space.
The bottom line is parking will cost you around $20 so budget accordingly. We try to show you some ways to cut that down by a few dollars and we hope this helps you.
1. Petersen Museum Parking Garage- Museum address- 6060 Wilshire Blvd.
Parking Address- 744 Fairfax Ave.
2. Academy Museum of Motion Pictures- 6067 Wilshire Blvd. - Valet parking entrance is on Fairfax Ave.
3. LACMA- Los Angeles County museum of art- Parking entrance is at 6000 W. 6th Street
4. La Brea Tar Pits- 5801 Wilshire Blvd.- parking is directly behind the museum. Parking entrance is on Curson Ave.
5. Curson Ave. Parking garage for museums and Sag-Aftra- 649 S. Curson Ave. - Our preferred parking area.
6. Street Parking is metered for 2 hour parking only South side of the museums off Wilshire Blvd. Do not park on Wilshire Blvd.

We get a lot of feed back when we did a video about parking in Hollywood so we thought the information on parking in some of the other areas would be good. This one if you go by Google which we also do, Everyone of the garages charge about the same so it really doesn't matter much where people park. Thanks for watching Don.

It is a wonderful area but you are right the parking in all of California cities is getting way out of hand. The good side here is you can go and park in the side streets on Sunday for free. Thanks so much for watching our channel.
Very cool museum. If only you could buy that Porsche for $1.95 lol. That Tesla van was pretty weird. Those tar pits are something else.

You guys know all the good spots. We are back. Things have been a bit crazy around here. It is starting to settle down. We got one more adventure we are about to head out on and thats it until next spring. So we are going to need sunny warm Videos to get us through winter.
