I find it interesting how Eddie and Lena went through the same thing but reacted so differently. Eddie became a cop and is bound and determined not to be seen as a victim. Lena, for all her bluster, seems to be stuck in the victim role, or, at least, chooses to be a sacrificial lamb to protect Eddie.

Lena doesn't strike me as protecting Eddie. Sure that's what she said but I get the impression that Lena is stuck in the richy rich lifestyle. Lena has made it clear that Money and status is VERY important to her still and Eddie actually grew up and worked hard to make a different kind of life for herself.

@@stacyimhoff4069 Oh yeah, Lena's definitely more of a victim than a protector -- "Woe is me. My husband's in prison. I can't compete with my daughter's new in-laws. Everybody hates me." I think that, in her mind, she believes she's protecting Eddie, when really she's just protecting herself. But I am curious as to why Eddie went one way and Lena went another.

I am not a big fan of Lena. That being said this seemed.more of a parent to parent talk. I still dont completely trust her but I dont get the same weird feeling I did from Maya anymore.

Stacy - I think this scene shows a much more complex person than we originally thought and that Lena really is looking out for Eddie - I mean Edit! Frank really saved the day!
