Sandy Beach Biggest Backwash I've Seen! High Surf Advisory May 20, 2024

Sandy beach Hawaii got slammed with a 7-10' south swell which reached high surf advisory status on Monday May 20, 2024. I've seen bigger and windier days for sure, but the angle on this swell caused the biggest backwash I've seen here yet. The blowhole was spraying sky high, guys were flying off the backwash and heavy barrels chomped down on the ones who risked it.
