Thanks for the share. Gives a nice look at the park. Typical state forest aye 👍
No problem at all, thanks for all the content you guys produce, I love the podcast!
Sure is, steep and dry seem to be running themes in my trips so far.
Good work mate. From someone with many years in television and DVD production, audio is king. If people can't hear your narration they'll switch off. Don't run voice over and music together, we do want to hear what you're saying. Hope you've smacked a few ferals since then!!
Thank you very much for the feedback! Yeah, audio seems to be one of the hardest parts for me to get right, but I’m working on it.
I sure have! Been lucky enough to pack about twelve goats from this forest since this video and I managed to get some pretty good footage of it. If you end up watching any of them ild love to hear your professional opinion on if my audio is improving, I seem to get a lot of feedback on the audio in this video but not so much on the others, I guess that’s a good thing.
Good effort mate enjoyable trip a little word of advice keep it natural with the Audio reduce the narration and talk more to the camera.
Yeah it was amazing! Thanks heaps for the advise! I realised I didn't do enough talking on camera when I tried editing, I've never filmed myself before so I was a bit camera shy. I'm over that now so the next one will have a lot more.
@@ThePublicScout you don't come across as Camera shy, were you did speak you did a great Job keep it up its hard work but rewarding
Thank you and your spot on, it's not easy but I love a challenge!
What rifle do you use?
I’m using a marlin 1894 lever action 44 magnum, still not sure if it’s the right gun for the job considering the new forests I’ve been hunting. I think something with a big more range would be helpful in some cases, but the dream of running into a mob of goats or pigs is why I chose this rifle.
No narration mate-and if you must, it has to be your natural voice, not you 'presenter' voice. Nobody is here to watch a TV show. Also, no music. Just my opinion, of course.
Thanks for the input mate, much appreciated
Hey the blokes having a go. Put up a link to your great content.
@@gw5436 yep, just friendly advice as a viewer. Probably could have been a bit nicer. Apologies.
I kinda agree. Use your natural voice, tell us that you are excited/stoked, some music is fine but also any natural noise/ bird song. Take us where we wish we were... I enjoyed it keep it up!
@@mattytalbot777 thank you for your feedback aswell, this was my first video and first time filming myself doing anything. If you have time, maybe check out some of my newer videos and let me know what you think, I’m still working on getting my audio right but ild love some feedback on some of my newer videos, the sequel to this forest is called “ I came back for the goats and the deer”
Do you know goats rub on trees as well as deer
Yes, from what I've researched most game will leave rub marks, pig will rub lower than goats, but these were much higher than goats, some were as high as I could reach! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
Where is this ?
Hey Kenny, if your like to know the locations of my videos and have access to satellite maps that show exactly where each segment of film are taken, plus a whole lot extra! Head over to my patron I'll have a new forest map coming up soon!
Thanks for the speedy reply.
Thanks mate will do
