It always amazes me that all the motorcycle manufacturers offers comfort seats. You wouldn't buy a Rolls Royce, open the door to find deck chairs there, and then be told you can buy comfort chairs. Why do we accept this, along with front mudguards that are useless, and having to pay extra for a centre stand. Royal Enfield excluded from that last comment.
When you buy a Rolls Royce you can actually pay more for for an optional seat, so not the best example. I guess that if all top end parts were fitted as standard you would have the Rolls Royce of motorcycles but would be priced out of the market. As always, it will be a compromise between price quality.
I like the style of the GT seat, I know it fits on the Interceptor but my question is, is their less padding in it? It is sculpted lower but is that foam or the seat pan shape? That is, it the padding on the GT less than on the Interceptor?
Excellent video, how much would it cost (price +postal charges )to send a royal enfield interceptor sump guard to france ? Thanks in advance, take care 👍

@@HitchcocksMotorcycles not many videos from you ! Btw I love the exhaust you showed on the Ravishing Red I'm your earlier video.. Do consider adding these leather accesories just may improve the asthetics, and comfort instagram.com/p/CJcw1RBJybb/?igshid=uhbdkbr12vmh
I bought the touring GT seat for my interceptor (India via ebay before the shutdown). It added a bit of range before the riding on a rail feel, for me 150 miles vs 100. After that not so much. I added a fleece seat merkin and that in combination helped and makes 300+ miles day's tolerable. Still open to a reasonable priced after market option that simply works.
I'm not a big person but that seat needs to be wider. The Russell seats are the only seat I've found for comfortable day long riding, and after 50+ year's of riding I've tried most after market seats.
Also love your shop guys, I bought the higher windscreen for the Himalayan from you which has been such an improvement. The touring seat means I can ride for 5 hours without issue whereas before I had to stop after 2
Next video on the 4 valve heads in the background please .

I'm a bigger rider, I wonder if this would be better than some of the aftermarket options.

I tried one of these for my interceptor a few months ago. In my opinion it was no better than the original. Pleased i didn't by it first.

I’m still waiting for the Ventura Blue cowl for the Continental GT touring seat 😂

I bought a set for my Himalayan which has been great. Is it interchangable/could I fit it on an interceptor or are they different dimensions?
Do you sell a slightly higher seat than the original and if so how much higher is it?
What does it look like on a UCE Bullet E5 or G5? Any piccies?
