The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited housing charity Jimmy’s, where they heard about the crucial support it provides for people in Cambridge. During their visit they were shown inside a modular home and spoke to Eamonn Kelly who lives there.
After a chat with workers from the charity, William and Kate departed, but before they got into their car Eamonn persuaded the royal couple to have a selfie with him which they were happy to do.

They usually aren’t allowed to take pictures with anyone unless it is in a formal/pre-planned sitting, but you can clearly see they were very touched by this gentleman and truly care about what others are going through. They will make a great King and Queen Consort one day!

I just cannot get enough of this couple. Such naturals with people like the Late Princess Diana. So caring, so friendly, always smiling, always interested. I just LOVE THEM & everything about them. They will make a fine King & Queen one day, probably not in my life time though.

I couldn't be prouder of these two people . they are bringing great heart to their roles and making a great difference .
I especially liked at the end when the man put his arms around Kate and William while having their picture taken. I am not sure whether that is part of protocol or not, but to me it seems so natural, so human. And that's what I expect of true royalty - so humane and so respectful of others.
I thought that that man commited the unforgivable sin by touching Kate's waits hahaha since they are considered to be like gods lol

Nice to see this formerly homeless man finally has a place to call his own. Nice to see William support these “ tiny house” housing projects… it’s one way of helping to get people off the streets .. it’s a long road ahead , homeless existed since the beginning and can happen to anyone , young or old

Wonderful, just down to earth couple and very kind
They're from a very privileged background and lifestyle but there is no hint of any of that when they're engaging with people. Their ability to speak to just normal people, people with struggles and those who have fallen on difficult times is just great.

@@annafoley5061 Im sick to the back teeth of seeing you badmouth William and Catherine! They use their profiles to get the name of the charity out there, which brings in donations. Just the other day William spent the day selling Big Issue magazines to raise money for the homeless. Just by attending a charity event they can bring in more than 2 million in donations in ONE evening! They have given up their free time and their lives to raise money for all the different charities they are patron to. And there's so much more that they do/have done. And what have you done for charity lately?? You do absolutely nothing that's productive with your life, and yet you have the NERVE to criticise William and Catherine??
I believe William is a patron of a Centepoint, which is a homeless charity, he takes alot of his interest in homeless charities from his mother. There was a sweet story recently where he even called the HMRC Benefits call centre to help a homeless person get some help with benefits which I think speaks volumes about his intentions. Just by attending meetings like he did today is a great help to charities because they get more media interest and coverage which means more donations and the more they can do to help people suffering. Does that answer your question?
