- Many young people in rural areas dream of exploring cities and becoming successful. However, luck was not on Mr. Theophilus Onolunose’s side when he made that move.
The 36-year-old man’s dreams and ambitions were cut short after he moved to Benin city. While speaking to Legit TV’s correspondent, Monday Idara, he explained how he was accidentally shot by a police officer. This incident led to the amputation of one of his hands.
Relentless and unwilling to give up, he volunteered to be a traffic controller. While at it, a drunk driver knocked him down while towing a one-way.
This has rendered him incapacitated as he cannot help the young and elderly cross the road. Watch this interview to know more about this young man’s travails.
He explains how he moves to Benin city in search of greener pastures. Along the line, he was shot by a police officer who claims was an accidental discharge, that led to the amputation of his hand, despite an incident he did give up, he decided to take up voluntary work as a traffic control officer then he was also knockdown and broke his leg by a drunk driver who applies one-way to escape traffic.

Nigerian Police should settle him very well so that he can be able to sustain himself for the rest of his life. He need a human right lawyer and I can recommend a very good one that cannot fail him. Please Legit, assist Theophelious to go and see Ahmed Isa of Brekete Human Right radio and television in Abuja. If he go there, all his problems will be solved. You can goggle to get their address. I follow their programme and I know what they can do.
So sorry for a young man like this to loose his hand and at the same time battling to regain his leg.
