I feel game studios often forget how a game needs to be a solid experience and needs to have a certain feel. When you open up Final Fantasy X this song plays and we see all the characters sitting at a beach which looks peacefull, but it also looks apocalyptic when you look at the rest of the background. You are immediately immersed in the game and I love that shit.
100% !! FFX is the only game OR movie that I almost cried at the end and I don't cry easily lol... 33 years of age and it still hits me in the feels, this was the first song I tried to learn(and did) on piano, SOOO many fails but once that first perfect one hit, it was all worth it... Started playing when I was 27 with $35 keyboard and youtube, maybe I should learn how to read notes sometime too :p
FF games have gone down significantly in quality since 7. they focus on asthetics rather than story and gameplay. i remember i was at the final boss after around 25 hours on FFX... whereas with FF7 or FF6 i was well over a hundred hours and absolutely terrified of fighting the boss, because he trounced me so thoroughly on previous attempts.. FFX was the beginning of the decline of the franchise. I remember i had completed every thing in it and obtained all the ultimate weapons ... only 50 hours in.
@@christoff124 game doesn't need to be long or difficult to be good, and by the way ffvii can be finished in less than 50 hours as well (can't speak for ffvi since I haven't played it). A good game hits you right in the feelings. If it does, like this game, the rest doesn't matter. (My opinion)
@@ramasagheri9504 chrono trigger and ff6 were the right length... 50-70 hours to beat the boss had the feels also. 120+ hours for full completion. ff10 had the feels but the game felt empty and shallow. because most of the full complete gameplay was dodging lightning bolts or playing blitzball... thats not real content like chrono trigger or ff6 where they had full blow side quest story lines to get the most powerful weapons and armor. ff12 was just as bad ... game could be completed so quickly.
My (now) girl played this for me in either the Brussels or Dublin airport when we first met and blew me away, I was completely in awe. This is after she flew out to London to meet me from San Diego on a wild amazing trip after knowing each other for a month or two if that. We're still together after a couple years and I still love whenever she plays this

this my first intermediate piece I'm learning, only started to learn piano 4 months ago. Took almost a hundred hours of practicing this specific piece to get it down with both hands with proper tempo. But I did it, love this peice.

I remember when my mother gift me this game for the PS2. It was on 2004, more than 16 years from that moment and this composition is still with me. :)
