Stepz97 • i love kuroko no basuke. alot of it seems like basketball skills on super saiyan levels, especially kise when he does perfect copy, but for the most part, alot of the stuff in the show can be explained. for example, the zone is basically someone in complete focus, or basically “in the zone”, if youve ever heard that expression. what i love about the show tho, is that these guys with super saiyan level basketball skills, are put in their place by their own sixth man they used to play with. they all respect him, of course, but dont think he can possibly beat them. theyre all proven wrong, some twice, some three times. but thats whats great about this show, the hardships everyone, including STRONG people, go thru

And He also never got show that He ever lose to someone else other than Akashi, so this is His second lose on individual and His first lose on team... 😖😖😖😖 Kise reaction also sad but He isn't as sad as Murasakibara as He is losing a match sometimes and more than 10 time already and I know He really want to win but all team also want to win especially the third class as this is They last match at High School. What make me felt more sad toward Murasakibara than Kise is just when Murasakibara wanted to win He lose and the way that make Him lose is because He cannot jump as His foot power already losing. In this Kise's the most heartbreaking moment for me. But in the series overall it was Aomine's moment in the rain under the bridge. "I don't even remember how to receive your passes anymore." This broke my heart more than once.
Midorima and Takao crying together is probably the most underrated. They shared a lot together the whole series, they've been the funniest duo the entire show and goofing around non-stoply either and even when they lost they still even shared their frustration and sadness.

Asides from the Kiseki no Sedai, the most emotional loss was Kasamatsu's. You can hear him wailing in the locker room because he felt that he "failed" his team.
Murasakibara's face when he cried after he lost was heartbreaking, but so adorable too. I just wanted wrap him up in all kinds of hugs and then feed him some snacks to help him feel better!
Midorima's L was the worse and painful one for me. Edit: Midorima and Shutoku's loss against Rakuzan is 10x worse and devastating than their first L on Seirin.
It was frustrating for Midorima to lose and that hit him, but it also hurt him that he couldn't "save" Akashi, it was very noticeable on his face when he talked to him. 💔
Aomine’s loss made him love playing basketball again, he thought there was no point in trying since he’d always beat everyone. Always winning was never fun for him and actually sent him into a long depression. Him crying later while watching Kuroko have fun playing with Kagami like him and Tetsuya used to in middle school always brings me to tears.
Don’t even get me started on the Generation of Miracles playing on the same team again in Last Game. I thought it was just gonna be the last manga volume but I lost my shit when I’d heard it would be adapted into a movie. (I cried watching that too of course dw 💀)
You can tell that midorima and kise in particular really learned the value of teamwork in their new schools. The fact they both got upset not just at the fact that they lost, but that their team lost. They didn't want victory just for themselves, but for their teammates too.
At that time, Kuroko did not understand why the GOM acted like this, the only reason why Kuroko was not crazy about winning like the others is because he was a "shadow" that depended mainly on teamwork, in fact Kuroko was quite hypocritical as Akashi said "Kuroko only started to worry about the GOM's bad actions when they affected a close friend but he always remained indifferent when they faced other groups." He was an accomplice not a victim (the real victim was his friend who resigned and the other players who faced the GOM) and he just started doing something when he was in Seirin.
I don't think Midorima would have cry if Takao didn't. Seeing Takao crying made him crying, and that's why I love Midorima. He looked not friendly but he really cares about Takao and Shutoku.

Lol if you want to take that as a nerf, you have to realise his abilities are an ass pull. I understand copying Aomine's way of playing, Midorima's shot, Kuroko's pass but copying the emporer eye and Murasakibara's physical power is bull. Akashi has the emporer eye because of his intellect and because he is a master of games like shogi which relies on predicting an opponents move. You can't copy that. And copying Murasakibara is impossible because how can you replicate his strength and height. Also completely copying a persons playing is impossible, Kobe even said he couldn't copy Jordans mentality and his way of playing.

To me the fall of Midorima against Rakuzan is still the worst loss of all. I hated watching that big, mature and hardworking man humbled and worse of all he couldn’t protect his friend, Akashi may not realise it but him not shaking Midorima’s hand on account of just winning that he was okay sacrificing the respect and companionship of their childhood to win. It was that pain that makes that loss horrible. That’s why I enjoyed it the most when Kagami made Akashi desperate, it was a phenomenal watch.

Kise was my Fav. It was heart breaking when he cried. He was the weakest of GoM and became the Strongest by the end. There is no chance even for akashi in the zone to beat kise in the copy+ zone. And also it is sad that midorima never entered the zone,even for once. And I still dont have a clue how strong he will get when he enters.
If we based their skills in the last movie (last game), akashi can win against kise, zone + complete emperor eye (belial eye). Plus, if u thnk abt it if their teams play against each other, Kise might dominate one quarter but in remaining 3 quarter, he'll lose cuz perfect copy + zone is exhausting as hell.

When I just finished the ova “Kurokos birthday” I laughed and cried since they were all together happy like the old days after that I watched more anime’s until I saw this from my recommendation I cried again.
Aomine didn't cry because he wasn't upset or frustrated like the others, I guess he just felt empty. And he looks like his younger self again, which is kind of a hint that he reconnected to his past self, makes sense?😅

Akashi who has only known victory really accepted defeat like a true player. You can tell he was in pain but he didn't rage or anything and instead acknowledged Seirin as the victors, but that was Akashi's "kinder" self though. I can only imagine his other self's reaction to defeat. It would probably drive him mad.
They are better, significantly. But the GOM rely on themselves and it's only after losing to Serin that they realize basketball isn't a solo sport. Just because your a good player doesn't mean you can play by yourself.
Midorimas to me was the most broken, he evolved as a teammate who wanted to win w his teammates like kise, and also it was difficult seeing him cry in comparison to kise cause its so unexpected
I have a close friend who really loves basketball. He is like kuroko,he don't have enough passion but he really loves basketball. So I know how it feel when he hurt because of basketball. When I see them (GoM), it remind me to him. Remember when he lose, how broken he was. and it's really brake my heart.

Kise was my Fav. It was heart breaking when he cried. He was the weakest of GoM and became the Strongest by the end. There is no chance even for akashi in the zone to beat kise in the copy+ zone.
And also it is sad that midorima never entered the zone,even for once. And I still dont have a clue how strong he will get when he enters.
If we based their skills in the last movie (last game), akashi can win against kise, zone + complete emperor eye (belial eye).
Plus, if u thnk abt it if their teams play against each other, Kise might dominate one quarter but in remaining 3 quarter, he'll lose cuz perfect copy + zone is exhausting as hell.

Seeing Kise's and Midorima's reaction when they lost broke me. I felt the same for all the other Generation of Miracles, but seeing their reactions made my heart break.

Akashi who has only known victory really accepted defeat like a true player. You can tell he was in pain but he didn't rage or anything and instead acknowledged Seirin as the victors, but that was Akashi's "kinder" self though. I can only imagine his other self's reaction to defeat. It would probably drive him mad.

They are better, significantly. But the GOM rely on themselves and it's only after losing to Serin that they realize basketball isn't a solo sport. Just because your a good player doesn't mean you can play by yourself.
That is the whole point of the show, Kuroko wanted to show them that individual strength isn't the way to play basketball.

I have a close friend who really loves basketball. He is like kuroko,he don't have enough passion but he really loves basketball. So I know how it feel when he hurt because of basketball. When I see them (GoM), it remind me to him. Remember when he lose, how broken he was. and it's really brake my heart.
