Both James T. Sherwin and Lhamsuren Myagmarsuren are still playing online, the latter under the name "Shatar" on ICC. I'm honored to say I have played them both many times, and even gotten a few scalps (mostly winning on time or because of time). The fact that they continue to play and enjoy the game at such advanced ages is very inspiring. Sherwin is 91 and Myagmarsuren is 86. Fischer hilariously wrote "a Mongolian" on his scoresheet because he couldn't figure out how to spell Lhamsuren's name properly.
11:01 I feel great that I know a fischer game from memory that anish didn't know! I remember this game fischer - sherwin quite vividly because of this interesting defensive try with the exchange sacrifice Rb7 by black. I had read Eric Schiller's easier version of Fischer 60 memorable games as a child, and positions from this book I remember vividly even after 15 years, but I tend to forget things I read more recently. I also instantly recognized fischer-spassky in the queen's gambit and Fischer-Benko Rf6, and the fischer-myagmarsuren Bg2 idea both the move and the players, and both the fischer - byrne games. Childhood neuroplasticity is a real thing.
As a Fischer fan I'm proud to have recognized 8 of the games - 4 with the name of actual players. I knew the last game as well as a KID player. Hilarious! Love this! Please do more with other players!
What a memory! He is able to memorize positions and solutions of very old games. It is very hard for me to remember even the recent Gukesh Vs Ding games where I watched each game 5 hours.😄
Bobby is by far the most famous American chess player. Is anyone even close? I’m guess timing Hikaru is second because of the fame he generates with his online presence. Am I missing anyone?
He is a top GM, earns well and have good family. If you are an adult then you know these are the reasons more than what adults expect for. So, all reason to be happy.
So glad to see Anish again on this channel
13:40 the instant Hikaru impression as soon as he recognizes the game, gotta love Anish 😂
He is so quick with his jokes damn I didnt even noticed that

You have to block the f pawn before playing e5 threatening mate on h7.
"Hans Niemann"!!!!!. Definitely the funniest chess player
00:21 hans nieman is correct
happy to see old streamers together
Gukesh is not playing this tournament, but we have Anish, I believe Anish is also Indian.
Anish drew here as well with 0.5 points😅

Also, isn't Vidit playing the World Rapid and Blitz? If not why😢

Bro is becoming Homeo-Pati
Oh thanks for the information 🙏
Btw still want him to play and hoping that he will arrive at the venue 😅

Anish is like Mr. Bean😂
We want you to test GM Magnus Carlsen to see how well he konws USA chess , mix up everything even GM Maurice Achely games!
Not only Bobby Fischer is from the US, he is precisely from New-York (Brooklyn).
I knew it, he'll say "Hans Niemann?... " 0:13
10/10 here, though I wouldn’t have remembered Sherwin without Sagar saying it was game #1 from My 60 Memorable Games.
Fischer's games are the best of the 20th century.
When match Twomoro r day after

pieces in danger😜
10:20 bruh gujjus in the background
0:15 😂
Seem to have been surprisingly difficult for him. I bet Magnus will shoot out of pistol all answers. The Sherwin game is somewhat missplaced here
❤
And the video starts with HANS 😂😂😂
I got a perfect score on this one! But of course I have studied Fischer very in-depth, more than any other player.
💥
Actually hans is THE Famous guy😂😂😂
You should have asked this to Gukesh... ykiyk❤

Anish giri can even draw in Quizzes?!
When I saw the last one I realised scamming is in their DNA
You live such a sad life. Can't look think of nothing, but racial stereotypes when someone just joked with a person they know well.
Why is he so happy? Is he a World Champion?
Imaging asking why someone is happy.
what a sad life you must live with that thought process..
He is a top GM, earns well and have good family. If you are an adult then you know these are the reasons more than what adults expect for. So, all reason to be happy.
Top 15 in the world and beautiful wife!
Why so salty?? Ur best friend ducked your girl??
