Sunn m'Cheaux! Woot! Was not expecting you guys to link up though in retrospect I should have been. As for Trump, the first time I actually watched him speaking as President, my hair near fell out. For weeks I was waiting to hear that the men in white coats had intervened and relieved him of office in favour of someone who can at least speak in sentences and make sense. But no, instead I saw him and the neo-GOP doing their best to test American democracy to destruction. I'm terrified he may even be re-elected.
I can’t even wrap my brain around how f💩cked it will be if this man gets elected. I always had an exit plan floating in my mind….but so help me, if that man wins, I’m outta here! I didn’t need a reason before. Always wanted to go home 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲, but now I feel like I simply CANNOT stay in a country that will allow white supremacists to dismantle our democracy and infrastructure RIGHT in front of our faces. It is really rich to hear Americans talk about Black countries as if there could be no more horrid a place on Earth….yet these U.S. leaders are just as reckless and malignant as ANY DICTATOR existing today. I hate it here, but I am just as American as anyone else. Why must it be so hard?

I love this dude! Everything he says is not only true, but really resonates on the deepest levels. I love the unflinching, dogged pursuit of knowledge and balance that is his channel. A breath of fresh air when you feel like you are swimming in the deep end in a sea of liars and idiots and grifters….and RACISTS. I also really enjoy the elevated, eloquently savage reads he dishes out to very special viewers who’s preoccupation always seems to be questioning the intelligence and/validity of Black folk. I love the confidence knowing the truth and it’s origins gives me. I have always had a very healthy (somewhat lofty) opinion of myself, but the power of information puts me in a new level of unbothered gratitude. Our people are friggin’ awesome. Thanks, brother!

I am Jamaican-American, and grew up listening to my family speaking patois, KNEW it was beautiful. I’m now gaining a deeper understanding of my own culture, and I feel just a little bit closer to my long gone relatives on the island and all over the planet. Thank you again for the inspiration! I really like you and like your show, but I also believe that it's true that you overtalk people and come too hard and fast to dismiss them after you question them, they may deserve to be dismissed true but when you do it so quick and hard it does seem like you won't hear people out so I understand why ppl say that about you. The way you talk is also very emotional so when you tell people they are in their feelings they can say the same to you. This is my opinion. I can love a show/person (including my own self) and still be able to see the bad with good, good with bad, we all have it. Haaaaaaaa, Prof Karen going international and listening to my local radio show. This is the nonsense that we over here in the UK have to put up with on a DAILY basis and these callers do not have any knowledge of the subject which they called in to discuss. Gaslighting everyone with their ignorance and then crying foul when they are asked the most basic questions "Oh you're really good at putting words into people's mouths, or you never give anyone time to speak."
As Dr Micheaux said, people can have their own opinions but not their own facts and if you have difficulty articulating that then all you're doing is propaganda and the conversation must end because to continue to allow you to air a grievance of being associated with racism is peak cognitive dissonance.
