One of the GUN soldiers even tells the others not to shoot because "They're children!" Shadow was not only traumatized by the death of his best friend and sister figure, then kidnapped from the rubble of his home to be locked away for the rest of time. He had no time to grieve the loss of his former life and loved one, getting deemed as dangerous when he was only a child of circumstance. It wasn't his fault he was seemingly born with these high amounts of chaos energy. Being forced to relive her death over and over again in his mind for half a century. Then to make matters worse, the only person who he trusted that was still around from his past manipulates him into thinking his best friend would have wanted the earth destroyed. Gerald tried to tarnish the memories of a trauma ridden child for his own gain (yes he was grieving too but instead of trying to work through it with Shadow, who would know that deep pain, he used him which made him no better than GUN.) and even after all that Shadow still managed to do the right thing and do right by Maria. Whenever Shadow comes back, I hope Stone takes him in since they seem to have had a decent bond. Get the poor guy some therapy and a few cookies because he deserves all the love and care after all the bs GUN and Gerald put him through.
Imagine making sonic of all people SO mad that he doesnt come after you in his base form, but prioritize going super to come kill you, not "fight" you. That pretty scary even for sonic. Its like goku tranforming to his highest form just to make sure he kills you, not fight you lol
This movie isn't even the angriest I've seen Sonic. Back in season 3 of Sonic X, Sonic got so angry upon seeing his friends hurt that he even tapped into the negative energy of the chaos emeralds and his fur turned a very dark, almost black, shade of blue, and he was honestly scary. Eggman even came in to try and calm him down.
its crazy because he quite literally couldve stopped their plans right there and then, he was so deadset on killing him that he inadvertently caused the moon to get sliced in half, since gerald was able to fire the laser as a result
i really loved that shot of Gerald crying because it gives a sense that Gerald really loved Maria and wasn't always just some mustache twirling villain who view the loss of her as an excuse to rule over the world, no he genuinely HATED the world after taking away his grand daughter and he's what shadow could've been if he lets his grief go out of control

Hell, just the ending of it is him going "I'm taking the world and everyone out with it, including me." After Tom got hurt, Sonic became surprisingly scary. While the movie certainly didn't stop with the comedy, none of it came from Sonic. And to see this optimistic jokester who, even in the most dire situations, could crack a joke, turn into a vengeful, out for blood, warrior was very surprising.
It definitely made the moment of his rage all the more intense since throughout the movies, we see Sonic so happy all the time. It's all been built up for this moment, and I'm going to see the previous movies in a more different light knowing how Sonic can be versus whom he chooses to be.
He was very close to being like this when he fought Eggman/Robitnik in the second film after going Super. There was no joking and you can see the serious anger in his eyes when staring down Robotnik (since Pre-transformation, Robotnik just tried to kill not only him, but his family too). We just didn’t get to see the full extent of his rage since he defeated Robotnik fairly quickly (and nobody died/was seriously injured).
Mufasa unintentionally has the lesson that you should hold onto grudges, while Sonic 3 explicitly says that you should not hold onto your grudges and grief.
you know I really appreciate how this movie surprisngly did a decent job of interpreating one's trauma and pain. But that's a must when adapting a character like Shadow

I personally think Shadow was done better in the movie more than any of the games because of one change, he smiles. Even in flashbacks of his past in the game canon, he is haunted by living up to expectations, which does make a parallel to Sonic being natural gifted while Shadow trained to be that strong, them being at odds with each other really feels off when Shadow should be asking Sonic how he’s strong more than once to better help in Maria’s wish. The movie makes their characters as parallels rather than just their circumstances, as Shadow used to be just as happy as Sonic in the movies, but his happiness was taken away, giving a better reason to put Sonic and Shadow at odds. The scene where Shadow tells Super Sonic to finish it by putting Sonic’s fist on his heart was gut wrenching, heck the way Shadow also became Super just to lose it just to Sonic at his angriest just sells the trauma and grief both are going through. And the way both get back up again and even smiled in their Super forms were amazing as you know the talk they had on the moon got their sense of compassion back, as they both got people worth fighting for.
To better state. Both Shadow and Sonic have gone through grief. Sonic lost the owl and shadow lost his Maria. It’s how you handle your grief is what sets you apart and unfortunately Shadow wasn’t even able to process his feelings being put into stasis
I didn't expect a great deep dive analysis on Sonic 3's themes. This was a really good study of 5 stages of grief, especially regarding Sonic and Shadow and what they went through in this movie. Kind of bums me out some people would dare say "This movie is for little children" when in actuality there's some excellent stuff to observe. Well done, Enchanted.👏🏻
Very much appreciated, this movie definitely had stuff for children to enjoy but it has so much for more than just that which makes it so entertaining and impactful

The movie is kid friendly, and is also fun for adults, too. There’s language in it that I don’t allow my seven year old to repeat. And there’s adult jokes in there, too. I’m reminded of the scene where Agent Stone is tied up and Ivo Robotnik says “Why are you tied up? Do that on your own time. You disgust me.” 😳
Pretty much convinced me to watch it due to the tone hopefully four keeps it, but the final post credits gives me hope for a shadow the hedgehog adaptation.
The fact a Sonic movie can be analyzed like this, the fact Shadows backstory was translated so well into film form shows the dedication to revitalize a series beloved by many but in terms of being mainstream doesn’t have the best reputation. I’m so happy this movie happend and is one of my favorite movies of the year as both a cinema lover and a Sonic fan
It broke me when Shadow goaded Sonic to finish him off. He was so deep in the hole of depression, I feel like in that moment, Shadow thought the only way to stop the pain was to just cease existing and that Sonic was the only person who could accomplish that. There is genuine catharsis in this film that really connects with the audience. THIS MOVIE IS SO GOOD! 😭😭😭
I can't recall there ever being a game where two Super hedgehogs fight each other to the death, let alone to the extent of nearly ripping the world apart. This movie really went there. 👏
I think through the whole Franchise is the only other official Super Sonic VS Super Shadow fight we ever got was in the middle of Sonic X third season where there fought to hard it caused a black hole to emerge which killed one of the 4 main villains of that story as a casualty. And that was back in 2006.

I'm not going to say "actually, in the game..." I'm just going to say that the reason this movie is the way it is, is because the story is loyal to the game, not 100%, but in the core elements of it. Which makes me hate to my guts how videogame critics ridiculized and made fun of Sonic stories like they could not be more, and like it was stupid just because it's an anthropomorphic hedgehog. Now the movie can reflect the quality of the story, its characters and most importantly, what we can learn about it, and the fact that people are liking it reflects it was always a good story (not a life changing story, just a good one)
Knuckles could see Sonic was grieving; he himself went through that as well when his tribe was wiped out, so he knew the path that would be walked if he became too much of an obstacle for Sonic's anger to channel through. His character flourishes so much in that one scene, and I love it.
i like how Gerald and Shadow harbor a deep resentment towards the people who harmed them and took Maria away from them, but differentiates with their levels of vengeance. -Gerald was left awake and alive for 50years behind bars. Everyday being tortured by the memories of his dead granddaughter while being forced to cooperate with the people who took her away from him. -Meanwhile Shadow was left asleep and in statis for 50yrs unaware of the World's development but retains the last good memories with Maria in his dream until he was reawakened to remind him how she was killed. I cant blame Gerald really, he was just a broken man, who lost faith from humanity and probably went insane to really wanting to destroy Earth leaving it to dust together with him. But Shadow fortunately kept the last good and innocent memories of Maria that gave him hope, to do the right thing and preserve the things she once view as precious and save the Earth together with Sonic. Such a good film with lessons to learn, specially Eggman's appreciation for Agent Stone before he saved the world.
I liked the first two movies (yes, the Knuckles series too), but this, straight up cinema. I think I cried once watching this. Best Christmas gift ever.
It’s one of the films that does what others don’t, and what I mean by that is it balances the target audience. A lot of OG Sonic fans praised the film deeply by saying how it’s the best of the trilogy due to how it was written along with the action and references. As for the newer fans, the film is for all ages to enjoy but it does plot beats for them to understand like the pacing
It's interesting to see some people actually giving this movie thematic analysis. I will say sonic did touch on bargaining when trying to convince knuckles and tails he needed to go super.
I'm happy this movie did so well and respected Sonic music more compared to the previous movies. The storyline was done better here than in Sonic Adventure 2's story. It was great. Keanu Reeves really knocked it out of the park as Shadow.
@mandalorianhunter When it comes to the music, FR!! I said to myself before seeing the movie that the first two movies didn’t utilize the music from the games well. I applaud the developers for making good use of the music. Overall, amazing movie for a die hard Sonic fan like myself, and even those not acquainted with franchise can enjoy it.
@noahf.1127 yeah live and learn was welcomed but during the Sonic vs Shadow fight, For True story(Generations) should have come on. City escape and mechanical resonance should have been used in the first movie. The Knuckles theme Should have been used in the second movie. I like uptown funk but less pop music is better.
@mandalorianhunter Indeed, for the second movie, in the scene where Sonic snowboards down a mountain, a musical homage to Ice Cap should’ve been played. For the first movie, when Sonic is traveling the world with the rings, Spagonia-Day, Dragon Road-Day, and Sandopolis could’ve been hinted at musically, and die hard fans could’ve recognized them.
Still wish the biolizard was there so it could have been the full four minutes orchestra mixed instead of one minute just made the final deadline seem less impact besides Sonic almost dying that was tense. So the story is kind of better in the og to me.
Damn its crazy to think my childhood hero is getting praise for its third installment by non-sonic fans. Its honestly amazing to feel. If you are curious and I wont harp on this too much... In the games Shadow's story is very different but i think i like this adaptaion because they trimmed down a lot of the elements while they were able to keep what was essential. Namely Maria, Shadow and the tragedy around them both.
You might enjoy this too but as someone who isn’t a Sonic fan I just bought for myself Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic Adventure 2 so pretty excited to learn more

Rather than being the '"erm, ackshually" guy, I'm going to instead say that Shadow's arc as it relates to his grief in the movie is about as faithful to SA2 as I could have asked for, and that if you want a game recommendation that explores those specific themes further, the recently released Shadow Generations tells a story about Shadow rechecking parts of his grief he thought buried, while also being one of the most fun games in the series.
Ive watched Sonic X 13 years ago and I still remember that Maria dies in Shadow's backstory. So Maria's death is basically a canon event in all Sonic media
I am so happy sonic the hedgehog 3 is beating mufasa because as a sonic hedgehog fan who loves the games and shadow the hedgehog and his character in the games and this movie was amazing in my opinion.
It’s impressive how this movie touched the likes of a non fan so much to the point where a character like Shadow is able to resonate with him enough for him to make a whole video dissecting his character. Impressive
I've dealt with hurt and grief for most of my life; partly because I obsessed over Sonic when I was young (and still do) but also from simply being different from everyone else because of my Asperger's. Seeing Sonic 3 adapt Shadow and explore his pain so well honestly made me cry and probably will make me cry every time I watch it.
The juxtaposition of the message from the movie to the games is a fun thing to talk about. The movie talks about revenge and the pain of loss while the games talk about how everyone deserves a shot at freedom, a shot at happiness. People can be selfish, they hurt others but even they deserve a second chance. Shadow never forgave those that killed Maria, but he did make peace with it. I think that may be where Shadow's character is headed in the future of the movies.
I absolutely loved this third film.My theatre was packed and I was chosen to do an interview and talk about it after it ended and if I would recommend it. I've adored Sonic and the games since I was a little girl and it makes me happy how we've now gotten 3 films to watch. I loved how they made Shadow, I was scared they would make him edgy, and I'm glad they did not. He is so flawed and didn't care for anyone as long as he got his revenge on Maria and Sonic being the only one truly understanding him despite them being very different.
Uhhmm actually in the Sonic The Hedgehog games Sonic doesn't have a mother 🤓 (Jokes aside great job and I'm glad this movie has shown new people how interesting of a character Shadow is)
You phrased it better than I could, was thinking about some of this but didn't know how to line it up. Only addition I'd make is that Shadow's Depression stage I think was present all throughout though arguably at it's biggest in the period of the Super fight where he's just trying to get Sonic to kill him.
Comparing how Sonic 3 handles grief vs. Mufasa is so night and day it’s insane For those who didn’t watch it(I don’t recommend it’s not great) Mufasa has multiple storylines of lost parents and such and outright ignores them. There’s a whole thing about how Mufasa misses his parents and wants to see them again but we never actually see that he only tells us. He’s doing just fine in his adoptive family and when they’re killed he’s not sad at all, no denial, anger, bargaining, depression at all, he just all of a sudden really wants to find his birth parents and whoop Dee doo his mom is a ok and has been looking for him for years. Even when he hears his father is dead he’s sad for literally 30 seconds and immediately moves on after a little pep talk. Sonic 3(and the games as well) manage to handle grief with so much more delicacy and realism it’s hard to believe it’s about blue porcupine that goes fast😭
TBF about Mufasa (a movie which makes Scar unrelated to Mufasa even tough he was Simba's uncle in the 94 film). Just watch Transfomers One (seriously its a great movie that's also about a best friend/brother in arms relationship before it went upside down, done dirty by the marketing)
This movie does it better than any other anime show or movie, it shows just how terrifyingly cunning and strong the normally happy, jokey nice mc can be once they snap, the same mf knuckles who mind you is even stronger in this movie who was rocking sonic's shit last movie actually backs down (btw that argument had me on the edge of tomorrow, get it? 😅 ) *GET OU-* but srsly this movie was peak fiction and hearing eggman say, "the eggmen have entered the chat" made my life
Can’t…unhear…Keanu, gotta hire him for future games with Shadow now. Enjoyed the movie and will watch it again for the more subtle details and easter eggs. Sega/Nintendo/Takashi Iizuka, Shiro Maekawa, Kazuyuki Hoshino hire him for the games.
I *LOVE* that the movies aren't the games. The games tell a story using that medium, and the movies tell a different, movie story. The two can't, and shouldn't be the same. The respect that the movies have shown, to the characters and to the viewers of both diehard fans and newcomers like Enchanted, is top-notch, and more studios should follow this model.

Points at secret rings sonic’s companion for that game dies in the final act and he is so filled with rage and grief that he absorbs the negative parts of the seven rings while the villain absorbs the positive parts the only reason the villain didn’t get murdered by him is cause he is immortal but he trapped him for all eternity anyway after having him bring the companion back to life one of the best last acts in a sonic game by the way

The biggest difference between Sonic 3 and the game it was based around is the ending sequence in which there's a giant mutated lizard thing that attached itself to the eclipse cannon and was how Gerald Robotnik would attain his revenge.
I never read the comics or watched the shows but I remember playing one sonic game and i really enjoyed it for the little time i played it. But I'm more into movies than games so seeing them bring a live action sonic to the big screen is so dope and all 3 movies have been amazing imo. 3rd one is definitely the best I think.
you forgot to mention Ivo Robotnik redemption arc, because in the end it was Robotnik who really saved the earth not super sonic and super shadow. Robotnik even sacrificed himself to safe humanity, the same Robotnik that in the first movie said he hate human and only love the machine as his family, the same Robotnik that his own human family his beloved grandfather are trying to kill him and he seem to overcome his grief and pain of this ultimate betrayal really fast by doing the right thing. My son ask me if Dr Robotnik actually turning good guy in the end ?, I'm hardly got the right answer for that and tell him that we need time and a second viewing of the movie to confirm this....we may had to rewatch it this Saturday night 😁

To better state. Both Shadow and Sonic have gone through grief. Sonic lost the owl and shadow lost his Maria. It’s how you handle your grief is what sets you apart and unfortunately Shadow wasn’t even able to process his feelings being put into stasis

I didn't expect a great deep dive analysis on Sonic 3's themes. This was a really good study of 5 stages of grief, especially regarding Sonic and Shadow and what they went through in this movie.
Kind of bums me out some people would dare say "This movie is for little children" when in actuality there's some excellent stuff to observe.

There’s language in it that I don’t allow my seven year old to repeat. And there’s adult jokes in there, too.
I’m reminded of the scene where Agent Stone is tied up and Ivo Robotnik says “Why are you tied up? Do that on your own time. You disgust me.” 😳
Pretty much convinced me to watch it due to the tone hopefully four keeps it, but the final post credits gives me hope for a shadow the hedgehog adaptation.

The fact a Sonic movie can be analyzed like this, the fact Shadows backstory was translated so well into film form shows the dedication to revitalize a series beloved by many but in terms of being mainstream doesn’t have the best reputation. I’m so happy this movie happend and is one of my favorite movies of the year as both a cinema lover and a Sonic fan

It broke me when Shadow goaded Sonic to finish him off. He was so deep in the hole of depression, I feel like in that moment, Shadow thought the only way to stop the pain was to just cease existing and that Sonic was the only person who could accomplish that. There is genuine catharsis in this film that really connects with the audience. THIS MOVIE IS SO GOOD! 😭😭😭

I can't recall there ever being a game where two Super hedgehogs fight each other to the death, let alone to the extent of nearly ripping the world apart. This movie really went there. 👏
I think through the whole Franchise is the only other official Super Sonic VS Super Shadow fight we ever got was in the middle of Sonic X third season where there fought to hard it caused a black hole to emerge which killed one of the 4 main villains of that story as a casualty.
And that was back in 2006.

I'm not going to say "actually, in the game..."
I'm just going to say that the reason this movie is the way it is, is because the story is loyal to the game, not 100%, but in the core elements of it.
Which makes me hate to my guts how videogame critics ridiculized and made fun of Sonic stories like they could not be more, and like it was stupid just because it's an anthropomorphic hedgehog.
Now the movie can reflect the quality of the story, its characters and most importantly, what we can learn about it, and the fact that people are liking it reflects it was always a good story (not a life changing story, just a good one)
Im glad Knuckles relented honestly because seeing Sonic get a second thrashing after watching Tom gets hurt would've been insult to injury
Knuckles could see Sonic was grieving; he himself went through that as well when his tribe was wiped out, so he knew the path that would be walked if he became too much of an obstacle for Sonic's anger to channel through. His character flourishes so much in that one scene, and I love it.

i like how Gerald and Shadow harbor a deep resentment towards the people who harmed them and took Maria away from them, but differentiates with their levels of vengeance.
-Gerald was left awake and alive for 50years behind bars. Everyday being tortured by the memories of his dead granddaughter while being forced to cooperate with the people who took her away from him.
-Meanwhile Shadow was left asleep and in statis for 50yrs unaware of the World's development but retains the last good memories with Maria in his dream until he was reawakened to remind him how she was killed.
I cant blame Gerald really, he was just a broken man, who lost faith from humanity and probably went insane to really wanting to destroy Earth leaving it to dust together with him. But Shadow fortunately kept the last good and innocent memories of Maria that gave him hope, to do the right thing and preserve the things she once view as precious and save the Earth together with Sonic.
Such a good film with lessons to learn, specially Eggman's appreciation for Agent Stone before he saved the world.
I liked the first two movies (yes, the Knuckles series too), but this, straight up cinema. I think I cried once watching this. Best Christmas gift ever.

It’s one of the films that does what others don’t, and what I mean by that is it balances the target audience. A lot of OG Sonic fans praised the film deeply by saying how it’s the best of the trilogy due to how it was written along with the action and references. As for the newer fans, the film is for all ages to enjoy but it does plot beats for them to understand like the pacing
It's interesting to see some people actually giving this movie thematic analysis. I will say sonic did touch on bargaining when trying to convince knuckles and tails he needed to go super.
I'm happy this movie did so well and respected Sonic music more compared to the previous movies.
The storyline was done better here than in Sonic Adventure 2's story. It was great.
Keanu Reeves really knocked it out of the park as Shadow.

Overall, amazing movie for a die hard Sonic fan like myself, and even those not acquainted with franchise can enjoy it.

City escape and mechanical resonance should have been used in the first movie.
The Knuckles theme Should have been used in the second movie. I like uptown funk but less pop music is better.
@mandalorianhunter Indeed, for the second movie, in the scene where Sonic snowboards down a mountain, a musical homage to Ice Cap should’ve been played.
For the first movie, when Sonic is traveling the world with the rings, Spagonia-Day, Dragon Road-Day, and Sandopolis could’ve been hinted at musically, and die hard fans could’ve recognized them.
Still wish the biolizard was there so it could have been the full four minutes orchestra mixed instead of one minute just made the final deadline seem less impact besides Sonic almost dying that was tense. So the story is kind of better in the og to me.

In the games Shadow's story is very different but i think i like this adaptaion because they trimmed down a lot of the elements while they were able to keep what was essential.

You might enjoy this too but as someone who isn’t a Sonic fan I just bought for myself Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic Adventure 2 so pretty excited to learn more

Rather than being the '"erm, ackshually" guy, I'm going to instead say that Shadow's arc as it relates to his grief in the movie is about as faithful to SA2 as I could have asked for, and that if you want a game recommendation that explores those specific themes further, the recently released Shadow Generations tells a story about Shadow rechecking parts of his grief he thought buried, while also being one of the most fun games in the series.
I no joke just bought both of those games to try them out so thank you

I've dealt with hurt and grief for most of my life; partly because I obsessed over Sonic when I was young (and still do) but also from simply being different from everyone else because of my Asperger's. Seeing Sonic 3 adapt Shadow and explore his pain so well honestly made me cry and probably will make me cry every time I watch it.
The juxtaposition of the message from the movie to the games is a fun thing to talk about.
The movie talks about revenge and the pain of loss while the games talk about how everyone deserves a shot at freedom, a shot at happiness. People can be selfish, they hurt others but even they deserve a second chance. Shadow never forgave those that killed Maria, but he did make peace with it.
I think that may be where Shadow's character is headed in the future of the movies.
I absolutely loved this third film.My theatre was packed and I was chosen to do an interview and talk about it after it ended and if I would recommend it. I've adored Sonic and the games since I was a little girl and it makes me happy how we've now gotten 3 films to watch. I loved how they made Shadow, I was scared they would make him edgy, and I'm glad they did not. He is so flawed and didn't care for anyone as long as he got his revenge on Maria and Sonic being the only one truly understanding him despite them being very different.
Uhhmm actually in the Sonic The Hedgehog games Sonic doesn't have a mother 🤓 (Jokes aside great job and I'm glad this movie has shown new people how interesting of a character Shadow is)

You phrased it better than I could, was thinking about some of this but didn't know how to line it up. Only addition I'd make is that Shadow's Depression stage I think was present all throughout though arguably at it's biggest in the period of the Super fight where he's just trying to get Sonic to kill him.

Comparing how Sonic 3 handles grief vs. Mufasa is so night and day it’s insane
For those who didn’t watch it(I don’t recommend it’s not great) Mufasa has multiple storylines of lost parents and such and outright ignores them. There’s a whole thing about how Mufasa misses his parents and wants to see them again but we never actually see that he only tells us. He’s doing just fine in his adoptive family and when they’re killed he’s not sad at all, no denial, anger, bargaining, depression at all, he just all of a sudden really wants to find his birth parents and whoop Dee doo his mom is a ok and has been looking for him for years. Even when he hears his father is dead he’s sad for literally 30 seconds and immediately moves on after a little pep talk.
Sonic 3(and the games as well) manage to handle grief with so much more delicacy and realism it’s hard to believe it’s about blue porcupine that goes fast😭

I *LOVE* that the movies aren't the games. The games tell a story using that medium, and the movies tell a different, movie story. The two can't, and shouldn't be the same. The respect that the movies have shown, to the characters and to the viewers of both diehard fans and newcomers like Enchanted, is top-notch, and more studios should follow this model.

Points at secret rings sonic’s companion for that game dies in the final act and he is so filled with rage and grief that he absorbs the negative parts of the seven rings while the villain absorbs the positive parts the only reason the villain didn’t get murdered by him is cause he is immortal but he trapped him for all eternity anyway after having him bring the companion back to life one of the best last acts in a sonic game by the way

The biggest difference between Sonic 3 and the game it was based around is the ending sequence in which there's a giant mutated lizard thing that attached itself to the eclipse cannon and was how Gerald Robotnik would attain his revenge.

I never read the comics or watched the shows but I remember playing one sonic game and i really enjoyed it for the little time i played it. But I'm more into movies than games so seeing them bring a live action sonic to the big screen is so dope and all 3 movies have been amazing imo. 3rd one is definitely the best I think.

As an adaptation, sonic the hedgehog 3 movie is really good, in my opinion. At least, I think they did Shadow the hedgehog justice.
you forgot to mention Ivo Robotnik redemption arc, because in the end it was Robotnik who really saved the earth not super sonic and super shadow. Robotnik even sacrificed himself to safe humanity, the same Robotnik that in the first movie said he hate human and only love the machine as his family, the same Robotnik that his own human family his beloved grandfather are trying to kill him and he seem to overcome his grief and pain of this ultimate betrayal really fast by doing the right thing. My son ask me if Dr Robotnik actually turning good guy in the end ?, I'm hardly got the right answer for that and tell him that we need time and a second viewing of the movie to confirm this....we may had to rewatch it this Saturday night 😁
