This song is very nostalgic for me. We were refugees in Europe during the 80s and I was around 8 years old when I first heard this beautiful yet heartbreaking song. It was used in a short Iranian film where an Iranian man finds out his wife was kidnapped by the islamic republic "morality police" for showing a little hair, and they took her away and raped her. She ended up cutting her wrists and committing suicide afterwards and the husband came home and found her dead in the bathtub. She had left him a note if I remember correctly and he basically spent the next few days and weeks finding out who those exact guards were and he went with his brothers and ambushed them and killed them. This song played the moment he came home and found her dead so it was very poignant and stuck in my head for my whole life. Rest in peace ostad Andalibi
