- Long time no see... I'm back with a nice long look at my Rouje collection, the good, the bad, and the ill-fitting. But really, I love this brand, and if you're a fan as well, I hope you enjoy this video! :)
Nothing to be ashamed of! Rouje is a sustainable brand. I am glad they sell their clothes seasonal compared to fast fashion brands. Their clothes are timeless and almost like vintage gems! ✨ You can wear their clothes as many times as you please, without worrying about being on trend
🙄 I’ve been wanting that Paloma red 1940’s Rouje dress since forever!! Ahh I bought a Rouje dress off Poshmark for the first time and I will not do it again! I’m pretty sure the seller washed the dress without saying so. It was a 36 which I usually wear and it was tight on me. The rest of my Rouje dresses fit perfectly because I bought them off the website and not second hand. I’m honestly scared to purchase second hand clothes now.
I have the same issue with Rouje dresses, I always size up so that it fits my hips but it’s always pretty loose at the top for me too. The stuff from Rouje are so my style though so it never really stops me from buying anything haha

You say you are being eaten alive and swimming in fabric from the Gabin… But it is just not skintight? I think the cut is lovely on you albeit a bit more conservative in length compared to the other cuts. The bust is the only place that is noticeable and that can be fixed with a simple vertical dart on the front of each side of the bust. I hope you find a seamstress that tailors it to your curves. It’s lovely on you
you should only hand wash in cold water by hand both dresses and sweaters
The sad thing is that I did! 😭 I only hand wash my Rouje and vintage pieces, but sadly they still shrunk! Thank you for watching! ☺️
@@lafilleyvette I am someone who has Rouje dresses and you know what works-having them dry cleaned. In fact expect for the jersey tops from Rouje I dry clean everything else-dresses knits and skirts. Never have that problem. They say hand wash but I honestly believe their clothes r meant to be dry cleaned. Just try and look for someone good and affordable like I did and you’ll see it’s easy to do dry cleaning.
