I think Aiyuk went overboard trying to get paid, I'm sure he hears the noise, I'm sure he knows he's not playing as well, I'm sure Kyle is worn out on him. I get why Aiyuk might be pissy. But get a good game, get a 100 or a touchdown and Aiyuk will be feeling better

I’m old school. When I was coaching I thought there was a benefit from team unity. Manifestation of individuality when a player is underperforming is a mistake. When you’re off your game, better not to draw attention to yourself. My take on the contract negotiation is that BA was enjoying the feeling of being in control, which he clearly wasn’t. He got the same deal he could have had a month earlier. He hurt his teammates in the process
Everyone we've re-signed (for big money) has had a bad year the year after they get the bag. Kittle, Warner ( relatively speaking), Deebo, and Bosa. Trent WAS the exception but this yaer he's still playing elite but not at his own elite level. Jennings, if you consider his contract "big" would be the one exception.

Wearing uniforms is one of them.
People have dress codes. You don't see a dude in the army wearing orange. If every single other person on the field can do it, why in the world would you make a big deal out of doing what the rest of the team is doing. BA needs to get over himself. Rice wore the same thing as the rest of the team.
It didn’t look like he was chuckling to me. I doubt Aiyuk gets any better with the way he’s been acting. He needs to be better and catch the ball!
I remember when I was in high school in Arizona my coach was Hall of Fame coach in Arizona and they all wear black cleats. I was new to the team from Oregon and I showed up in white cleats and he said there’s no way you’re wearing white cleats. We all wear black cleats so I painted my cleats black.

I always thought Aiyuki was better than average or a very good WR, but never considered him to be worth elite pay. I would have offered 15 million with incentive pay that could raise his annual income to 25 million for elite pay. That is how all players that want the big money should be paid. Why? Because more times than naught, players get the big dollars and than do not perform.
BA was never going to be dominant. He will get better and might be a top 15 receiver over his contract. This is still really good, Just please don’t become AB.

The 49ers need to draft top tier left tackle next year, life without Trent Williams is going to happen sooner than later. Trent Williams is getting hurt, now it's his toe.
