...re: the carrots...if you have a puppy--they love the cold carrot water. During the winter, if I cook carrots--I also save the carrot water for the pup, but also will use it for a soup base. Lots of nutrients being used versus thrown away.
I also cut my SOS or scouring pads in half. Sometimes you only have a stubborn pot or pan to clean and using a whole SOS pad was very wasteful. I was always looking for other things to scrub before I tossed it, bcuz there was so much product left on it. Storing them doesn’t work either bcuz they’d develop rust.
I used to make carrot sticks a lot for my kids and I would put them in a bowl with water, to keep them fresh looking. And would also add water to any carrots and potatoes, in a bowl to put in the fridge, that I may be cutting up ahead of time for a meal.
I used to keep fresh parsLey, cilantro, etc. in the fridge in water covered with a plastic bag as you showed. Unfortunately my family frequently knocked the classes over. Recently I saw a hack that had the fresh herb in a small glass but instead of the plastic bag covering they used a wide mouthed mason jar and lid. Set the glass inside the mason jar lide, cover the herb and glass with the mason jar, and screw the upended mason jar onto the lid. The herb and glass are safely in the jar thus any spills remain in the jar. Oddly since trying this method my husband can "see" the jar and hasn't knocked over. If your viewers have a similar problem I recommend the jar method. Enjoyed your video thanks.
Such great and easy tips! Regarding the boiled egg tip, I have yet to try; however, I do know, the fresher the egg, the harder it is to peel; si maybe this is the answer!!
Re: the ice cream/topping...consider turning the container upside down in addition to putting the plastic wrap...exponentially extends the product's life/use.
You do not need to put the avocado in a bag. I use a large bowl left out on the counter and add a bag of apples and bananas or one or the other and sit them on top of the avocados.
Wow! That bell pepper deseeding trick is awesome. It will come in super handy during dehydrating season this year. Thanks!

Store left over ginger in a baggie in the freezer. You can grate the amount you need
I wrap, tightly celery ,with foil ,it lasts several weeks ,honest.
Great tip, Susan! I started doing this as well :)

Your water trick also works for radishes and other veggies.
The tinfoil is genius
I booped the like button. Lol
Boop is a much better word than smash. I hate it when people say "smash that like button."
