I'd be happier if Zwift acquired and integrated a real adaptive training program, like xert, and charged 25 USD. From a business perspective I don't understand why they haven't done this already
I'm going to give Xert a try. 30 day free trial seems worth it and 30 days for testing it out is much better than some of the others that only offer 14 days. That said, yes, I'll pay for both and considering TrainerRoad is $21.99 per month by itself, Xert plus Zwift is a much better deal.
This is great news! I pay for Zwift Annually and I pay for Trainer Roads monthly (when it’s training season). Definitely interested in this alternative to Trainer Roads. Especially if Xert is $10 a month. The fact that Xert can push to Zwift is a huge bonus. Thanks for the info!
Well worth it. I resubscribed to Xert after the announcement. I too have a TrainerRoad account. Last couple of years i was jumping from one to the another, but ive decided to subscribe yearly to all 3, and love it. Some days i’ll cycle around with coco for my endurance rides, other days i’ll see what both TR and Xert are offering me,a nd decide which one suits on how im feeling. So far so good, haven’t missed a day cycling, To be fair to all platforms they all have their own strengths, and just IV news, there is no such thing as a free lunch. The employees at these companies need to eat too, so,i’ll keep supporting them. Well polished video again 👌🏻
Assuming your Zwift rides show up on Strava, would it be better to NOT click on “Sync Activities” from Zwift to Xert as shown at 0:3:18, and instead instruct Xert to sync activities from your Strava feed? This way Xert can incorporate both Zwift and outdoor rides into its algorithms, yes?
Will Zwift ever take workouts from Garmin platform? I use the daily training options from my garmin forerunner and would love if they would somehow sync up to Zwift.
@@harveybirdman593 I think @MITaerobike is implying zwift offered Garmin the chance to work with them to sync workouts, like training peaks. I wish it would work that way. Would be so nice.
@@SmartBikeTrainers Sorry about that Tariq. We don't have a lot of ways to communicate this directly. We included something in the newsletter and in the monthly invoices that go out. Thanks for the great vid!
been looking at tr to use in combinations with Zwift but it can't do all its features just with outdoor workouts. Can Xert suck in all outdoor and Zwift ride data?
Per a post by Nate on the TR forum yesterday, they are currently working on the Zwift integration, so hopefully it is available relatively soon for people who are interested
Yes, XERT is awesome wrt data integration from other sources, not just Xert workouts, and integrating them to create an upon-to-date fitness signature. Also their outdoor Garmin app is top notch.
Would you pay for both platforms or stick to one?
been paying for both so this is a win for me 👍

even had different tiered subscriptions depending if you want these features or not

Been doing this for several months, I really like it, thank you.
Awesome, glad you're enjoying it 👍
Another clear and well-presented video. 👏👏👏
Thank you sir! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏼
@ 👍
Thanks for this. Been xert curious lately.
Been using it, very happy with it
So basically it’s what you could already do with this or any other programme through a free training peaks account
A big advantage of Xert on their app is the Smart feature. Do "SMART" workouts remain smart when performed on Zwift?
No. You will have to use the xert app for that
Synchronising Zwift n Xert where is Garmin, does all the stats go to Garmin Connect?
Thanks for all the helpful videos, you’re N1
Yes, you can create a connection to Garmin from Xert and sync your workouts. Glad you are finding the videos helpful 🙏🏼

We have offered the API to Garmin for this use.
We? Are you with Zwift?

I am giving Xert a 1 month trial but probably won't keep both. Just want to understand what Xert is all about first
Xert is 15 USD monthly from December, while annual remains 99 USD
Well that was definitely not communicated clearly by Xert and buried all the way down in their newsletter. Thanks for sharing this.

Informative video 🎉 However, the real question is, “is it zert or is it exert?” 😂
Hmm 🤔
I use SYSTM for my workouts, it would be nice if I could push my workouts into Zwift.
Is there a way to connect xert to rouvy?
@@VirtualCyclist91 I've just checked it's only Zwift Garmin Strava and Wahoo, I might be wrong though.
Would be great but I did not hear of any API allowing that unfortunately...
Not tried this yet though I appreciate the integration, but will the smart workouts adjust based on calculated mpa like they do when ran in Xert?
No they will not.
