@@saadiasahim1812 Unless you get at least 60 Frames without Frame Gen then it's useless. Frame Gen brings input lag. In case you don't know what input lag is: it's basically your game responding slower to the controls you give it. Normally this makes the game react a second after you swing your mouse if you have 20 FPS. This lag is barely noticeable at 60 FPS so people like to have 60 FPS for that reason. Another bad thing about having low FPS is that the game struggles to load the image instantly and make the game look and feel sloppy. Frame Gen only eliminates one of these while increasing the other thing. Frame Gen basically makes your game look like it's running flawlessly but it also makes the game have terrible input lag. Basically this will make the game register your commands such as moving your mouse around or going forward, etc much slower than what it would be like without Frame Generation. It essentially makes the game respond slower to your commands in exchange for making it look like the game is smoother than before. This is why it's called Fake Frames by Nvidia. Those Frames are AI generated and can't respond to your command. So unless you have 60 FPS at least without Frame Generation, I would consider Frame Generation useless because it makes the game feel slower while looking faster. Frame Generation also consumes more VRAM and Nvidia cards at 12 GB will have problems sooner rather than later than AMD. I recommend you get AMD because it has AFMF, a technology that can turn on Frame Generation on literally any game and double your FPS. AMD cards also have higher VRAM than Nvidia's and thus you can max out your textures which are the most important settings in any game. Textures basically is the setting that makes your surroundings such as your character, walls, buildings, roads etc change into a 144p blurry crap or a 4K beauty. Textures is the only setting making your game look good as hell. The other things also make a difference but all of them combined don't have nearly as much of an improvement as the texture settings in all of the games. Nvidia is not worth it, aside from the 4090, all of the fall short of the value AMD has. Drivers have long since been fixed and I see no reason to buy them. Honestly regret buying my 3060 Ti in this January when I see AMD cards in my local market. I saw a 6900 XT water-cooled for just 900$ and that's cheap because I bought a shitty PNY 3060 Ti for 500$ and the 3080-3090Ti cards are still 2000$ here.
Every game that supports dlss i enable it. Its free frames and depending on the eye slightly superior to fsr(if you dont believeme check elsewhere). Also framegen with nvidia low latancy i hardly notice input lag and it save you from cpu bound senarios. I am not fan of a team just a user afraid to spend extra 100-200 for nvidia instead of amd
Yeah people are too concerned with ridiculously high FPS. I play most NEW games on Console anyway. These older games running at 60 or over are just fine. I wouldn't pay for anything higher tier. Yeah I'm cheap, but I'm not BROKE... :)
@@drummer7557 yup, i can run cyberpunk 2077 in high quality with ray tracing @1080 60 fps, and i am very happy about that, i don't need 2k and 120 fps, because it's very playable already.
So this is how it is nowadays: you get an entry range gpu for what it used to get a top one 5 years ago, and you can barely run every game on it at 60fps. It's a great time to be just a casual gamer in eastern Europe. An ok pc is at least 2 months of wages, so you'll need to save up for a year just for that, and then you haven't saved up for the house/flat you are never gonna be able to afford anyway. Well bro I don't have any of this graphics card 😅 I just have a RX 6400 😢 But with my knowledge I can tell you that if you are still be sticking to 1080p gaming then it can be a great upgrade but if you are thinking to game in higher resolution like 4k then you should invest in some other cards But 4060 is a great card in my opinion it can handle any game in 1080p with good frame rates it also can run some games in 1440p I think it'll be definitely worth it for you to upgrade to a RTX 4060 Just go for it you'll not be disappointed because it will be a huge performance increase in your PC
Why would they make that ? They have a lot of money and also no competition, they can put as much price as they want. Nvidia doesn't care about the gamers anymore.
RTX 4060 with only 8 Gig of VRAM was a disappointment. 12 Gig of VRAM should be the standard today to future Proof for next couple of years.. And that is at 1080P. for 1440P 16 Gig is recommendations and for 4K 20-24Gig of VRAM is required for Future Proof.
Lol what. U dont know for what video memory? 8+ gb for 4060 is useless. It can not handle 2k. For example 4060ti 25%+ faster, and has 8gb too. There its a problem. 4060ti can handle 2k like 4070. But not enough memory for max settings. Did you watch another video?) 4060 had only 40+- fps max settings. With lower settings will be enough memory for years
not correct . the higher vram allows you to set textures ( next to shadows one of the MAIN graphic settings) to alwysa ultra or high) even if the of the settings is lower this will save the visuals queit good and it future proofs the card also for 1080p which will require 8gb or more. not to start with textures compressing when running out of vram. so "lol what" are you talking about? @@victorusvealip5669

4070 costs around 720 usd and 4060 400 usd in my country😢... does buying a 4070 worth it at 720 or i save 320 and get 4060
save that and invest in other styff in your setup because 320 for 30 more fps id say nah but ur choice
Yeah dude just get a 4060 for like $295 and you'll be perfectly fine, and you won't be BROKE. It's a great 1080p card, which is what most people play on PC anyway.
crazy how the difference is 30-35fps but the price gap is 400 euro xD
It doesn't seems like to be a good comparison because of the resolution. U shud try testing on 1440p for better understanding.
Ngl I feel bad for ppl who decide to get the 4060 over a 4070 thinking it won’t be that big of a difference, so they chose the cheap route
4070 is 2x more expensive but isn't 2x better
As long as you're playing at 1080p and turn off/down a few of the more power demanding settings in games, a 4060 is perfectly good in 2023.
Yes, but in 2k the difference is a little larger, and also 12GB gives more stable gameplay.
See here in indian i can get 3 4060 in the price of 1 4070, what should i get
That 4070 here in he Uk with our insanely high electricity costs will see you having to chose gaming on it or eating. lol
Finally, the 4050 vs. 4060 😂
4060 is a 4050 and 4060ti is a 4060 but I think 4070 has some good improvement over the last gen
The "renaming" calling 4060 and 4070 to "4050, 4060" are already dead
I think 4070 is 4060 ti
How can you guys decide what the cards should be called? Wtf
@@4doorsmorewhorsBcoz of their performance.
Currently running a 4060. You guys think its with spending $6-700 to upgrade to a 4070?
Hell no
4060's average is 4070's min. What a RIP OFF.
Limit the 4070 to 120 Watts, and you'll find the 4060 thrashes the 4070
Is the dlss 3 a reason to buy NVIDIA cards??🤔🤔
@@wingman-1977
Why??
@@TheGamesClimax
Are the frames that comes Frome dlss 3 and FSR real?
@@saadiasahim1812 if it looks good and smooth ,does it matter if they are real or AI generated?
4060 is very decent if you can get in cheap.
Our generation is fucked.
Is it worth upgrading from 2060 to 4060?
Well bro I don't have any of this graphics card 😅
I just have a RX 6400 😢
But with my knowledge I can tell you that if you are still be sticking to 1080p gaming then it can be a great upgrade but if you are thinking to game in higher resolution like 4k then you should invest in some other cards
But 4060 is a great card in my opinion it can handle any game in 1080p with good frame rates it also can run some games in 1440p
I think it'll be definitely worth it for you to upgrade to a RTX 4060
Just go for it you'll not be disappointed because it will be a huge performance increase in your PC
@@dipankarbiswas3917 Ok, i will make the jump then and see how it goes, thanks!
Nvidia should have made the 4060 more powerful
Intel battlemage GPU is coming
Then it will sell it to you for 450 usd
@@smailelasbihani6022
The battlemage GPU is gonna be powerful as the rtx 4080 or even faster so 400$ is not 1200$
Why would they make that ? They have a lot of money and also no competition, they can put as much price as they want. Nvidia doesn't care about the gamers anymore.

Yeah it's The capitalism cancer

I am building my first pc for study purpose 😅😅😅😅
Yes it will bottleneck, the 4070 is a beast
In 1440p most likely ull be good
It will bottleneck at 1080p, but at 1440p it will depend on the game.
Actually the Bottleneck will only be with Specific CPU Intensive Games. Any one that just say yes it will bottleneck doesn't know what they are talking about. Also what Resolution are you gaming at. If you are doing 1440P or 4K GPU will get more Utilized.. What Games do you Primarily Play? Starfield bottleneck. Call of Duty very little bottleneck.
