Everyone died a little inside when Daf pressed all the buttons after shitting his pants. 51:14 In case you want to watch a recap of the Mars game, the video is called "herald a-z | m is for mars"
30 here - my childhood was Disney cartoons like Ducktales, Goof Troop, and House of Mouse. That's when it wasn't Looney Toons, Wacky Races, Scooby-Doo or Batman the Animated Series.
Donald Duck is still immensely popular here in Sweden. It's even Christmas tradition to watch "From All of Us to All of You", which in Sweden is called "Donald Duck and friends wish you a merry Christmas" due to how much more popular Donald Duck is than all the other Disney characters. It's aired on Christmas Eve every single year since 1959 and about 40-50% of the country watch it. Mickey Mouse is a speck of dust compared to Donald Duck's popularity.
When I was way younger I watched old disney films/ animations, the ones which had the really old music that would send you packing to the dream world. The ones with donald duck, Goofy, mickey mouse. It was because we kept hold of a vhs player which was just a big yellow cube that was basically a TV. I specifically remember one animation that had donald duck in a variety of roles. With the image of donald duck getting blown about by clouds in the sky. For context, I am 19.
With Joe on the “wouldn’t have watched it if I had known it was Part 1” for Spiderverse 2. I looked at my watch at one point and went “I’ve been watching this for 2 hours and it feels like it’s just getting started”.
I feel like you need to have the team win, for the players to qualify for the next round, but the best player is lost. That way they can't throw too hard.
I watched Mickey Mouse like 3 days ago. I have two kids aged 6 and 2, and youngest absolutely loves Mickey and Minnie. They are still most definitely relevant. Their favourite classic episodes are Clock Cleaners, and Symphony Hour. Though they love the new style animation that has came around in the last 5 years too.
Start with a pool of players rather than teams. Randomly assign teams. If someone no-shows then have subs on deck. The way you prevent people throwing is that the losing team's players are out, winners team moves on except the MVP who is also out. The average will still go down over time but you won't have pure throws since your team still has to win. If you don't have enough players for this format, give people strikes. If your team loses you get a strike and 2 or 3 strikes and you are out. Being MVP can be multiple strikes.
Disney made some iconic Disney trio movies back in the 90s like Goofy Movie and 3 Musketeers. In more recent memory I loved the Epic Mickey duology. So I'd say Mickey and his friends are still pretty relevant
Gotta love Pyrion's "I don't know it, therefor it doesn't exist" attitude. And to answer his retorical question about the last relevant Mickey Mouse thing: "The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse". That was a really well done show. Also my town have Disney themed Christmas decorations all over it's square. I don't like it myself, but Mickey Mouse is still very relevant, Just like Daf was this game, way to go Daf.
As a 25 y/o guy, I watched a ton of Donald Duck. Not to mention all the donald comics around. And ofcourse I'm a kingdom hearts fan as well, who doesn't want to fight together with Donald, Goofy and Mickey?
Lived in usa my entire life and ive never heard of bad bunny before today and im into rap/hiphop. Does he make like pop rap? thats the only reason i can think of that id have never heard of him
Bad Bunny is probably bigger here in the US cuz so many spanish speakers. As for Mickey being important, I don't think it's the products that are important but instead the history. Very few people currently play with a Gameboy but many people would by a Gameboy looking item (like a pencil case or something.) As for the game, while seeing Daf struggle with Magnus was painful, I won't be too harsh cuz I can relate. I played magnus a few times and did good only to take a break and return to get stomped on lol.
Yessss finally scrub dota is back. You guys should really review like 3 or 4 games at once so you have some banked. Going an entire month without any releases must really hurt your SEO, retention and engagement. Also if you can do like 3 or 4 recordings in a day, then that's only 1 recording day per month while releasing 1 video per week. Also it you can do 3 recordings/2 months or so then you'll have some banked for any situations like flax's internet going out. Anything can happen so if you have a few banked you can weather the storm much better. 😊 ❤❤❤
I think the reason Bad Bunny isn't famous in the UK is because of how poor we are at speaking other languages. Many places around the world speak or have an appreciation for Spanish so his reach is fairly global and the UK ones are the ones out. When my wife immigrated here from Europe she was shocked that we don't have any foreign songs on the radio, she is used to regularly hearing songs from all over the world
Not to mention that in the US there are as many Spanish speaking Americans as there are British people in total. Spanish language songs do numbers in the US.
Even for everyne who hasn't watch donald duck or mickey mouse shows/movies, the true power is that they are synonymous with Disney, people around the world regardless of their exposure with disney movies will recognise mickey's head which is why Disney keeps bending laws to keep it under copywrite.
I listen to bad bunny but mainly through my spanish and south american friends and they love it but britain is weird because we do often prefer homegrown music and its very hard to chart with non-english music; Kpop has only recently become popular but their biggest songs in The UK are mostly in english
I think Flax is right in learning lingo through kids rather than through your own experience, but I also think he's the last generation that it will work like that on. I'm 34 and I pick up all that weird lingo just from playing multiplayer games on the internet. (and I think flax doesn't because he only plays 5 stacks really)
41:00 I think it’d have to encourage winners so players are honest with their performance. I’d say kick the winning MVP and advance the.. losing MVP? The biggest loser on the loser team?
I mean not a lot of Spanish speaking folk in the UK compared to America so someone speaking Spanish being more popular in America and South America makes sense
I’m an American. I know that bad bunny is a singer but I have never heard one of his songs and know nothing about him so I can’t help in this situation.
people play ranked cause at least you know everyone it trying. but if you play unranked some people try some just meme so its inconsistent and you are more likely to get toxicity
Pyrion, i have been a league player for over a decade now, i volunteer to join the in houses as i have played maybe 5 hours of dota in my life. i can promise i will truly be terrible.
I'm 30, I've no Idea who Bad Bunny is, but judging from the album names, I would assume that it's in Spanish or another Latin American language, which I think answers your question of why they aren't big over here, most Brits can barely speak English properly let alone another Language, and if we do, I would assume it's either French or German most of the time (if my schools language departments are in any way representative of the wider curriculum that is). Contrast this to the US, which borders Mexico and has a much larger Latino populace compared to the UK (being the largest growing minority in the US, at least according to a basic google search while making sure Latino was the word I thought it was, but if I've used it here in the wrong context and offended anyone, apologies), basically, a lot of American's can actually understand what they're singing where as most brits wouldn't have a clue, we share a similar/almost identical language with the US in general but our cultures and populace make-up are very different.
Pyrion not having seen either of the masterpieces that are the Goofy movies is a real crying shame

They're back!! Hopefully Pflax's internet is fixed!
I wonder if he got new internet.
@@therealteal620 Pretty sure that he can't. There just anything else that, at least sometimes, does what he needs.
Classic Disney characters have always remained relevant in the USA due to the Disney theme parks. Many children were introduced to them through that.

the Goofy Movie and the most recent DuckTales as well as Kingdom Hearts are the ones that come to mind when talking about OG Disney characters
Notice that gyro almost never uses satanic and just dies in teamfights, at least at the start

Found one that lives forever in my brain ua-cam.com/video/dvN3dmMIDiM/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
As someone from America who doesn't speak spanish, I've never heard of bad bunny either.
I first thought it was a sextoy.
With Joe on the “wouldn’t have watched it if I had known it was Part 1” for Spiderverse 2.
I looked at my watch at one point and went “I’ve been watching this for 2 hours and it feels like it’s just getting started”.
I heard that the street-cleaning trucks in Hong Kong (maybe) play ”It’s a small world” tune on repeat.

Bad Bunny is a Latin Pop/Reggaeton artist. His music is in Spanish so im not surprised he hasnt made it across the pond.
My Mondays are complete again. Kick off my Tuesday to Wednesday weekend with a few drinks, these vids and a game.
Glad to have this back. Looking forward to hearing their takes on all the new changes
Pflax having phobia of things that look like other things is gonna be a problem the day the meets a pair of identical twins.
Ayyy, you're back!
I've been missing seeing Daf goofing off while his team plays the game!
That's a nice Sun Strike! Yum yum!
Bad bunny isn't big over here because Spanish isn't nearly as common
Pyrion must be a fun guy at parties.
glad to have you guys back
Babe wake up, Team double dragon posted!
Funny thing is that I never heard of Bad Bunny until about 6 months ago and I live in the US.
Lived in usa my entire life and ive never heard of bad bunny before today and im into rap/hiphop. Does he make like pop rap? thats the only reason i can think of that id have never heard of him
Honestly the Duck Tales reboot was the last time I saw something with Donald and Goofy but they weren't allowed to use Mickey.

I was rooting for our boy Daf... but then I saw the piggy.

IT'S BACK BABY!
Get well soon Joe! Need your dulcet tones abusing Daf for egregious gibbonage at maximum efficiency.
There is a much larger Spanish speaking / Latine population in United States compared to the UK. So I assume that is why Bad Bunny is a lot larger.
you take the winning team, remove 3 best, and the losing team remove the 2 best, then put them both into a new team of 5.
If bad bunny has a million fans my nan is one of them. If bad bunny has one fan it's my nan. If bad bunny has no fans my nan is dead
THE RETURN OF THE KING
Can't wait for Daf Meepo 😅
Watched it live on stream

It's baaaaaaaaack
carry witch-doctor with the game on their back
ITS BACK
We're so back
I LOVE SCRUBCASTS RAAAAHHH
I think Man of Steel was good. I loved how they imagined Krypton and Krypton technology.
Where is Lewis I need his rage and confusion
Has the Egg's internet started working again now?
I mean not a lot of Spanish speaking folk in the UK compared to America so someone speaking Spanish being more popular in America and South America makes sense
States goblin here, never even heard of this Bad Bunny person
I’m an American. I know that bad bunny is a singer but I have never heard one of his songs and know nothing about him so I can’t help in this situation.
The phrase that we used to employ at work for the same sort of situation described here was "One size fits fuck all".... Very imagniatve you'll agree

Bad Bunny is popular here but not the UK because we've got like, 800 million Mexicans here, and you don't.
Wwaaaayy yes lads!
poe had easily the best league ever cant blame Zylus
I think Ted overestimates the UK's spanish speaking population.
i almost missed this aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
25 year old I just think the art style is really cool.
Goofy's probably the most relevant of the three. Lots of Goofy stuff around.
