As an Extreme fan since the early 90's and a guitar player who will never be able to play like that, I just want to say that it was an absolute pleasure to watch you play that. That's how much fun I would imagine myself playing like that. Thank you so much!
what makes you think youll never be able to play like this? All it takes is massive amounts of practise which is do-able if you put time into it.
Don’t put yourself down man of course it’s difficult but practicing will do wonders
Just gotta look at songs like this in small sections and crush them one at a time, giver dude!
never say can't or never ... i'm about to turn 45 played since i was 13 ... and i'm still learning new techniques and have learned tons of songs i thought were too hard or just didn't think i could play. Like they said above take it in sections and start slow and increase speed to the tempo as you get it.
Nuno Bettencourt is one of my favourite players of all time. Not an easy song to cover, but you’ve nailed it 100% ! 🤘
Not easy, but so much fun to attempt.
It’s taken me years, but I use it as a gauge for different skill levels. From tapping to shredding. Each part of this song is building on skills.
I tend to find with a lot of Extreme songs, the solos are better than the rest by far. Very cheesy lyrics. This isn't bad though.

back in the 80s when this model of the rg came out ibanez wanted to be in my store on the south side of chicago BAD. i told him if he could put that rg in the road flare red color (pink) in my hands i would take the whole line. he had it to me in 4 days. i had the first rg in chicago. that guitar was a game changer, jackson was running unapposed, then these just took over.
Covering an under-appreciated master of rock so well should get Nili all the subscribers she wants! Who agrees?
You appear to have more fun covering Extreme’s material than most other artists. I’m guessing a big Nuno fan!
There is a lot of Brian May's style in Nuno's. Picking up a guitar at 12 was the best thing i ever did.

Why is this not on Spotify? The Guitar is very well played into the foreground, which is missing from the original Version from Extreme. Kudos to Nili for getting this Beast of a Guitar part nailed.

Extreme is the only band where I play the song and get so much satisfaction from it even if I can't play the solo! Nuno is so inspiring and his riffs that are throughout each chorus etc are just incredible. Nobody like him. well done on mastering this stuff.

I was good friends with the woman who was Paul Geary's girlfriend when Extreme was The Dream. This was before Nuno came along. We used to go see them play at the Channel in Boston. I'm talking early 80s. Those were such fun days. Paul eventually left the band some time after Nuno came in. Great playing here, Nili. Nuno is not an easy task.
