  • Historic move: The real reason Ghana is granting citizenship to all African Americans.
Recently, many African Americans are rushing to Ghana in order to get citizenship which Ghana is offering based on just ancestral linage. In this video, we would explore the reasons why Ghana took that decision and also get some experience from other African Americans that have already moved to Ghana.

Actually, I had visited Ghana many years ago, and the most amazing thing was that -- I kept forgetting that I was in Ghana 🇬🇭 -- because it felt like such a natural environment for me. I felt the absence of an element of profound stress.

We must explore the prophecy of the 400yr endtime exodus in order for this to work. The dryness can only be removed by prophecy according to Ezekiel ch. 37. Dryness meaning, the sin that prevents the native and diaspora Africans from truly uniting.

I’ve always thought throughs pan Africanism , African Americans through our knowledge and modern strategies we can help make that happen , as it is in our duties . It’s also apart of why Nigerians are the most successful groups of black ppl In our society and they bring those resources back to Nigeria . We must do the same , especially that majority of Africa is really young

    • @anonymousvip1665

@@donovanmccoy2963 I agree somewhat, however, for us to unite as a people, Black diasporans and Africans will have to meet each other in the middle, we're still not psychologically compatible to work as one people. Africans have to be less African and African Americans have to be less African American, I know that sounds nuts, but what I mean is that Africans have to ease up a little on their Tribalism and see others outside their tribes as their equals because many dont, if they did, slavery and colonisation would never of happpened, and African Americans, as we know, are ingrained with Western philosophy and religion, in fact they had it beaten into them during the transatlantic slave trade, they will bring European idiology, philosophy and a European mentality with them to Africa, like the Liberians/Ex slaves did and it ruined liberia for years after. Both groups generally still have some mental growing to do before Pan-Africanism can be successful, but they will get there eventually I'm sure...

@@UnDark1 First of all, forgive me for what I'm about to do to you it isnt personal, I see you need schooling about hard work and I'm about to give it to you, then I'll answer your question!!!
My people the 'Maroons" went through hundreds of years of enslavement in Jamaica until they won their freedom and escaped into the hills of Jamaica, they setup their own autonomous land that they still have today which is independent of the Jamaican government...
Some of my foreparents were invited here in Britain after the 2nd World War in the 50's to rebuild England, but all they faced on arrival here was outright racism and dehumanisation on the streets and at work, they fought racism all the way.
We fought for the right to go to schools, colleges, universities, to live in better areas, for better housing, for better and fair treatment at work, for equal pay with whites in the same job, we fought for the right to not be killed on the streets by white gangs and fought to be concidered humanbeings!!! We fought the government to make laws to outlaw any form of discrimination against us based on our skin colour.
During the 1980's my parents were involved in fights against the government and police for police brutality in our neighborhoods. I was taken to many many demonstrations and marches as a young boy against the police and the national front (British Nazi's) and we were attacked many times by both, we had to fight and run for our lives. I myself also took part in many free mandela demonstrations in the 1980's and Anti-Apartheid petitions against Margaret Thatchers government who supported apartheid, we also fought and petitioned for African rights when the British government wouldnt let many Africans live here and usually denied them visa's for no reason other than being African, I went to so many rallies on behalf of discrimination against Africans and was a regular performer, organiser and contributor at African Liberation conferences held yearly, (we targeted Black and African issues and actioned solutions) we exposed western involvments in many African wars and shamed the British government!
Once I even met Rev Al Sharpton during a A.Liberation Conference here in Britain in the early 1980's and he gave me his autograph, back in the day when he was useful, lol.
      Now to answer your question...
Concidering that Africans can now come and go here in Britain freely and enjoy the fruits and labor, blood, sweat and tears that the Carribean community has put in just so all Blacks, including "Africans" could live here comfortably and thrive, I think that it fair to now sit back and watch "African Governments" finally do some fighting of their own, on their own continent where they greatly outnumber whites, own all the resources and land, have armies, unlimited access to funds and the largest cache of natural resources in the world...
Us Diasporans have paved the way with our ancestors blood for Africans to live in any of these coutries, Africa may still of been a warzone if they didnt come here for education, work or to live here... All we are asking for is for the African "government" to fix its issues, that's the least we can ask for concidering it was the African authorities who sold our ancestors in the first place, fact!!!
So yeah, I'm expecting a comfortable leather seat with a foot & head rest, coupled with a nice cushy pillow and a side-table for my beverages, when I get to Africa.

    • @anonymousvip1665
      @anonymousvip1665 2 роки тому +7

@@UnDark1 Well that's fantastic, us diasporans have already paid in generations of blood, sweat and tears to advance the Black struggle ever since the "Pions" landed on the shores of West Africa. I dont think it's too much to ask for the African Governments to pull their fingers out of their backsides and contribute something to the struggle instead of sucking up all the wealth for themselves and doing very little for their nations while spending the wealth of the land on foriegn properties, foriegn cars, and luxury holidays in Europe.
Also, my parents have already immigrated to Ghana and have built a huge house there on their land (so I'm already guaranteed a seat on the continent if I wanted it) I was against my folks moving there because: Ghana do not sell land, they only lease it to you for 100 years as most land is owned by huge tribes and the rest by the government, this I thought was diabolical concidering they took our ancestors off that same land in the fiirst place, they should really donate some land to the returnees who can prove by dna that they are genetically linked to those people.
Plus, I didnt beleive it to be a safe place for elderly Jamaicans to live as policing there is ineffective and corrupt, these things, the local government can easilly resolve, but havent lifted a finger. So Ill wait and watch until tey get their act together!

Whoever is narrating this story is making a huge mistake of giving the impression that Ghana was somehow partly responsible for the Slave Trade in the Carribean and the Americas. In actual fact there was no country called Ghana or Gold Coast during the Slave Trade. There was only a coastline on the Atlantic that was named the Gold Coast by the Europeans. That was not the same as the nation called Gold Coast which is now called Ghana. The Nation called the Gold Coast was created by the British in 1844 and the same nation was taken away from the British by the natives in 1957 and renamed Ghana. There wasn't any country in Africa during the Slave Trade. Africa was just a huge landmass with Black people everywhere, each group of people called clansmen or tribesmen managing their own small area called a village.

@AfricaToday1 I told him when he claims his African identity, claims his African Culture reconnects with his African culture, and learns his African culture, then it is no longer forgotten. I am African American and have ALWAYS known I am Afrikan because there are many parts of my Afrikan Culture that my family still practice and even though our people were once enslaved we brought a lot of our African Culture with us and is expressed in the Black American Baptist Church when Black Americans catch the Holy Spirit and "SHOUT" and do a holy dance and praise God...This is straight from Africa and is SPRITITIAL POSESSION which we see in many TRADITIONAL AFRICAN RELIGIONS. THE SPIRITUAL PHENOMENON OF "SHOUTING" IN THE UNITED STATES ORIGINATED FROM THE BLACK AMERICANS WHO WERE KIDNAPPED ENSLAVED AND FORCIBLY BROUGHT TO AMERICA FROM AFRICA. GOSPEL MUSIC AND NEGRO SPIRITUALS ARE ALSO AFRICAN EXPRESSIONS THROUGH OUR MUSIC WHICH ALSO WAS CREATED AND ORIGINATED FROM BLACK AMERICANS WHO ENSLAVED IN AMERICA. So when you see white people and hispanic and chinese and Indians trying to mimic or copy this African Culture that Black Americans brought with them which was and is deep inside their souls and is AFRICAN SPIRITUALITY, please understand these other races are trying to copy from Black folk, trying to feel what we feel and put on an act to try to be like the Black American, but this African Spirituality is not from them because they are not African. The BLACK AMERICAN IS AFRICAN AND WE NEED TO CLAIM OUR IDENTITY AND SEE THE MANY WAYS WE MANIFEST AFRICAN CULTURE RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA. BLACK AMERICANS ALSO MANIFEST OUR AFRICAN CULTURE WITH OUR SOULFUL SINGING LIKE ARETHA FRANKLIN, JAMES BROWN, OTIS REDDING, PATTI LABELLE, CHAKA KHAN, GLADYS KNIGHT, WILSON PICKETT. white people try to copy from Black American music 🎶 which is also created and originated from Black people in America Expressing and Manifesting our African Culture. ALSO RAP MUSIC (not the poisonous destructive newer garbage "rap") The ORIGINAL RAP MUSIC ART FORM FROM THE 1970's and 1980s and some of the 1990s and even now, of it is following that positive Genre of teaching educating uplifting having fun and inspiring and celebrating Black Culture, Black Unity and Black Family this RAP MUSIC which originates from BLACK AMERICANS IN AMERICA

    • @orangegoldenhoney4899
      @orangegoldenhoney4899 2 роки тому +2

@AfricaToday1 OUR BLACK AMERICAN RAP MUSIC IS ALSO A WAY BLACK AMERICANS MANIFEST OUR AFRICANNESS AND OUR BLACK AMERICAN RAP HAS INFLUENCED OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN AFRICA AND THE CARIBBEAN AND OTHER NON AFRICANS LIKE WHITE OR MIXED HISPANICS WHO IDENTIFY WITH THEIR EUROPEAN SPANIARD SIDE, ASIANS AND WHITE PEOPLE copy off this ART FORM OF RAP MUSIC CREATED BY BLACK AMERICANS WHICH IS AFRICAN MUSIC. BLACK AMERICAN DANCING IS ALSO AFRICAN. IF YOU LOOK AT THE DANCES OF THE BLACK AMERICAN YOU WILL SEE SOME OF THE SAME STYLES OF DANCING IN AFRICA EVEN BEING UNAWARE OF WHAT DANCES WE BLACK AMERICAN AND OUR SISTERS AND BROTHERS ON THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA ARE DOING, WE SEE MANY ELEMENTS OF THE DANCING ARE THE SAME BECAUSE WE ARE STILL AFRICAN IN OUR BLOOD OUR SPIRIT OUR ESSENCE SO AFRICA COMES OUT OF US IN ALL THAT WE DO. OUR BLACK AMERICAN PEOPLE NEED TO OPEN OUR EYES AND SEE HOW WE REALLY ARE AFRICAN, HOLD ONTO WHAT WE HAVE AND STOP LETTING NON BLACK PEOPLE AND OTHER RACES COPY AND TRY TO STEAL WHAT WE HAVE. WE NEED TO STOP INCLUDING THEM IN OUR CIRCLE AND STOP LAYING DOWN WITH THEM BECAUSE THIS IS HOW THEY BEGIN TO TAKE WHAT WE HAVE AND TRY TO ACT LIKE THEY ORIGINATED IT WHEN THEY TRY TO STEAL OUR AFRICAN CULTURE AND IDENTITY FROM US. WE SHOULD NOT ALLOW OTHER RACES AND NON BLACK PEOPLE TO BE SO CLOSE TO US AND SO COMFORTABLE WITH US TO THE POINT THAT THEY THINK THEY CAN COPY US. WE NEED TO LET THEM KNOW THIS BLACK AMERICAN CULTURE IN WHICH BLACK AMERICANS EXPRESS OUR AFRICANNESS IS OURS AND IT IS NOT YOURS AND STOP GIGGLING WITH AND TEACHING THESE OTHER PEOPLE OUR CULTURE AND STOP INCLUDING THEM IN WHAT WE DO, BECAUSE THEY DONT INCLUDE US IN WHAT THEY DO AND THE BOUNDARIES OF WHAT IS THEIR CULTURE ARE CLEARLY DEFINED AND THEY DONT INCLUDE BLACK PEOPLE...LIKE WISE WE MUST KEEP OUR AFRICAN CULTURE FOR OURSELVES AND STOP GIVING IT AWAY AND LETTING OTHERS TRY TO STEAL IT FROM US. BLACK AMERICANS ARE INDEED AFRICAN AND NEED TO PROCREATE AND MARRY WITH EACH OTHER BECAUSE THE MORE BLACK AMERICAN LAY DOWN WITH NON BLACK PEOPLE OUR AFRICANNESS IS ALSO BEING LOST. SO WE ARE AFRICAN BUT WE NEED TO PRESERVE OUR AFRICANNESS AND CLAIM IT AND WE CAN BUILD UPON OUR AFRICAN CULTURE WHEN WE RETURN TO THE AFRICAN CONTINENT TO CONNECT DEEPER AND LEARN MORE OF OUR CULTURE💯

However, here you are affirming that it is happening in Arab controlled African nations but i still don't understand how they do it. Is it done the way it was done yesteryears or how really? Just make me understand.

@@childrentoys4537 Here's a quote from De. Frances Cress Wesling: "A people that don't respect themselves, won't defend themselves!"
Our view of God has been distorted, we're worshiping our oppressor's gods how crazy is that, read The Papal Bull, Islam, and slavery in Africa, and what Gov allows foreigners to come onto their soil, and be ok with them disrespecting their people (African leaders)... Africans will openly kill, oppress other Africans, but won't give their real oppressors that same smoke!

@@childrentoys4537 Nigerian men with HIV think having sex with a virgin will cure AIDS so they buy prepubescent schoolgirls as sex slaves.
Remember Sgt La David Johnson and his Special Forces teammates in Niger that were killed by slavers in 2017?
In what way you ask?? Africa is the birthplace of slavery meaning it predates written history.
White people made slavery illegal in our Constitution. We fought for it to end during a time when practically all African countries had slaves.
It's funny because you don't even know if your own ancestors never owned or sold slaves.
      You might owe yourself reparations.

Let's go back humbly. We don't want to take the colonizers' mindset back to Africa with us. We have 400+ years of trauma swirling in and through us... The white entitlement has been the ruining of many people and nations. How can we demand reparations from a struggling nation when the riches nation in the world won't pay for its atrocities towards our people? We know better, so we need to do better.

When I was in high school I use to write poems of Oh Mama Africa.
I had no idea, where they came from.
I must have been feeling the pain of the ancestral spirits within me.
Blessings to the then President of Ghana for such a wonderful movement of the people.
Peace love and happiness to all Africans.
