선생님 질문이 있어요! This sentence 네 우리 다음에 같이와요. Literally means “We came together next time" . But you said Let's come together next time, also at many places i have seen this ending ( which is an informal ending with verb) meaning Let's. So can you please clear this doubt.
와요 is a present-tense conjugation form of 오다, so it actually means “We *come* together next time,” rather than “came.” In Korean, present tense conjugation can also be used for proposals or invitations, like “Let’s verb.” Here are 3 ways you can say let’s in Korean : Let’s in 존댓말 1) verb-ㅂ/읍시다 e.g 다음에 같이 옵시다. (This sounds more formal.) 2) verb-아/어요. (Just conjugate the verb in present tense and add 요.) e.g 다음에 같이 와요. (This is the most common way to say Let’s in 존댓말) Let’s in 반말 3) verb-자 e.g. 다음에 같이 오자. (Note that Verb-자요 doesn’t work. -자 can only be used in 반말.)
