1979 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Our tasting began with the 1979 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that opens with intense aromas of black tea, Asian spice, soy, sandalwood, red licorice, and rhubarb. These complex aromas melded into an intriguing bouquet that captivated our senses from the first sip.
1988 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Next, we savored the 1988 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, notable for its deep ruby color and distinct Cabernet varietal aroma. This vintage presented slight green herbal notes and a bottle bouquet that delivered a rich mouthfeel with a balanced finish, embodying the essence of a perfectly aged Cabernet.
1998 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Our tasting experience concluded with the 1998 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. This ruby wine exhibited dark cherry and plum aromas complemented by notes of blackberry, vanilla, black tea, and gingerbread spice. Each sip revealed the meticulous craftsmanship and aging that went into creating this exceptional vintage.
