I'm really curious but have no clue.. how long ago did the rap scene turn up in dhh? (Other than underground, like getting worldwide) I love that one line , smth like "I'll accept poison as if it's from a friend" (after the coffee line). But a lot seems like old school rap from the States. Not in a copying sense, but in a sense of rebel (as rap is meant to accomplish). This does seem more a diss track towards peers/whatever, but a lot of songs seems about the government and rising above the system type themes as well.
Just takes me back to another time... Now we have rappers here who wanna talk "bars" about candy (literally).. it makes me kinda sad. That's why I'm here and not my radio ❤️🔥🤌💀😭
this isn’t really dhh , it’s just punjabi music. although nowadays hip hop is a huge influence, punjabi music has always had themes like this due to the culture and history of the region

I hope our rap gets real again, and doesn't turn into some kind of money scam bought by false dreams. My country is worrying me lately floating on clouds.
