My father was a B-17 bomber pilot who held his burning plane steady until all of his crew had bailed out before bailing out himself. He and his crew were all captured by the SS. and spent the last 9 months of the war in a POW camp in Barth on the Baltic in Germany. He and two others escaped from the liberating Russians who were no longer our allies at that point. The memoir that he finally wrote is horrifying. He suffered from undiagnosed, untreated PTSD and survivors guilt right up until he died at age 92. I have never in my life hated anyone like I hate the subhuman who called McCain and Bush Sr, and would have called my father a loser.

He pulled America out of the Paris Agreement as well as the WHO. It's a possibility that Trump might pull out of (or at least back from) NATO this time. 2. Him buddying up with Putin. Both concerns stem from the fact that we have a neighbour in the East waging war. Then I of course empathize with Americans and their concerns with Trump.

He had German luftwaffe fighters shooting at him as he drifted down in his parachute and he was also captured shortly after he landed by the SS. During that trek, he came across a political POW camp with gas chambers, etc. He was so overwhelmed at how human beings could treat their fellow human beings like this and he never got over what he saw, especially in that camp. I read Trump didn’t want to go to the military cemetery in France because it was raining & didn’t want to mess up his comb-over. My husband was drafted during the Vietnam Nam era. He went - spent about 10 months in Hawaii training & then was shipped to Vietnam Nam for the duration. He didn’t really talk about it much. Maybe twice in the 22 years we were together. But he came back & went to college on the GI Bill. Lots of people got exemptions, went to Canada. - I won’t fault them for that. However, this jerk insulting veterans makes my blood boil. Democracies are quite delicate because they are based on an abstract framework that gives power to institutions, no individuals, to keep things running smoothly. When you try to dismantle part of that framework, it often happens that dark forces will try to change the rules of the game for the system to play on their favor.... and you don't need a score or two to destroy democracy if you do that.... in a few years it will be all gone

Made a historical peace between Israel and UEA and Bahrain. Should Trump won the 2020, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Indonesia (the most populous Moslem country) would have made peace with Israel 4. Made trillions of dollars that were parked in other countries by Big Corporations (such as Apple) back to America. Thanks to his low tax rate. 5. Made NATO countries pay their fair share (2% of GDP as promised in the agreement). Before, it was always the US (your tax dollars) that pay for the organization. Many of the NATO countries didn't even want to pay at all. 6. Made USA safer by limiting millions of illegal immigrants from the south (Mexico and below). Thanks to his "Remain in Mexico" and "The Wall" policies. Just 2 years since Biden took over, already more than 10 million illegals entered the US again, due to his stupid "Open Border" policy. 7. Moved the capital city of Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. No other US Presidents ever dared enough to do this. 8. Stopped the massacre of Rohingya Moslems by Buddhist Myanmar 9. Forbade the use of Chinese products in all 5G networks in America 10. My father was also a B-17 pilot, who held his shot-up, burning plane steady so his crew could bail out safely. About 15 seconds after he bailed out, his plane blew up. He had German luftwaffe fighters shooting at him as he drifted down in his parachute and he was also captured shortly after he landed by the SS. He spent 18 months in a POW camp near Barth (Stalag Luft 1). He also fled after first being liberated by the Russians and made their way back to the American lines. During that trek, he came across a political POW camp with gas chambers, etc. He was so overwhelmed at how human beings could treat their fellow human beings like this and he never got over what he saw, especially in that camp. He to suffered from undiagnosed and untreated PTSD until the day that he died, at the young age of 66. I despise Donald Trump and everything he stands for. The bone spur pansy has no idea of what people went through to protect our Democracy and fight for his right to free speech. For any American to make these disparaging remarks about our service men is truly despicable but when the President of the United States makes these remarks, it is unforgivable and something every American should consider, when casting their ballots when voting!

He went - spent about 10 months in Hawaii training & then was shipped to Vietnam Nam for the duration. He didn’t really talk about it much. Maybe twice in the 22 years we were together. But he came back & went to college on the GI Bill. Lots of people got exemptions, went to Canada. - I won’t fault them for that. However, this jerk insulting veterans makes my blood boil. Don’t vote for him - he doesn’t deserve the honor of being the Commander in Chief.

More frightening is the fact that neither the GOP nor the Dems have seasoned young politicians that represent a return to centrist/moderate politics. Besides Nikki Haley all I see is a bunch of duds with not statesmanship, dwelling on the far ends of the political spectrum, selling the idea that far-right/left are quite different and needed in the American society when in truth, they both are time-bombs that will splinter our whole country and most of the western civilization.
Democracies are quite delicate because they are based on an abstract framework that gives power to institutions, no individuals, to keep things running smoothly. When you try to dismantle part of that framework, it often happens that dark forces will try to change the rules of the game for the system to play on their favor.... and you don't need a score or two to destroy democracy if you do that.... in a few years it will be all gone

I don’t understand how decent, sane people can follow and vote for such a person. A person so cruel to veterans and other humans, who served his country in order for him to have the life he has, but don’t deserve.

Truth matters little to Trump, what’s right even less and decency not at all. We need to engage with undecided voters in order to keep him from ever gaining the presidency again.
There's the key: decent, sane people do NOT follow and vote for such a person. His supporters are confused individuals who have grievances because of their own directionless lives and are looking for someone to point out someone else to blame for them, at which Trump is a consummate expert. And let's' not forget the toadying sycophants in high positions who depend on these confused individuals to keep them in their positions of privilege.
His followers prefer to believe whatever Trump says, no matter what it is. They can't be troubled to look at facts, nor at things that might make them uncomfortable in the their choice.

I am. I make my own decisions on who to vote for I will NEVER listen to a cnn commenter or cnn talking head, they've never been reliable nor trustworthy.
It took me a minute to figure out what trump was.
Decades ago when trump went public and opened his mouth I knew right away that he was a grifter.
I don't understand how people can be so gullible.
Pray him out, he carries a demonic aura and people like him gain strength from negativity and people's fear ! Y'all continuous comments of him, is like fuel to the fire....I truly believe that he's met a match....God, will measure us up.....
The people who support him have always been here. This isn’t some new phenomenon. Trump is an indictment of America. He has merely emboldened them. They don’t care what he does as long as he hates the same people they do.
Mainstream America is shocked at the level of hatred that consumes their fellow Americans. Certain groups of people in this country have been protesting and complaining about these kinds of Americans for centuries. And no one believed it. Well, here they are in our faces, up close and personal.
Because people don’t learn history and unknowingly repeat it. Trump’s behavior is similar to Hitler with his image of perfect specimen of a human and napoleon thirst about military power and image of strength.
Trump made at least these achievements during his term:
1. Made millions of jobs back from China to America. Thanks to his super high tariffs on Chinese products.
2. He was able to make Kim Jong Un not to test his missiles even once (and outline the path to de nuke NK nuclear) after their meeting in Singapore. But once Biden took over, Kim started to release a lot of missiles again. Thanks to the Biden's idiocy (not me that said this, but Kim himself that said Biden is a low IQ individual)
3. Made a historical peace between Israel and UEA and Bahrain. Should Trump won the 2020, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Indonesia (the most populous Moslem country) would have made peace with Israel
4. Made trillions of dollars that were parked in other countries by Big Corporations (such as Apple) back to America. Thanks to his low tax rate.
5. Made NATO countries pay their fair share (2% of GDP as promised in the agreement). Before, it was always the US (your tax dollars) that pay for the organization. Many of the NATO countries didn't even want to pay at all.
6. Made USA safer by limiting millions of illegal immigrants from the south (Mexico and below). Thanks to his "Remain in Mexico" and "The Wall" policies. Just 2 years since Biden took over, already more than 10 million illegals entered the US again, due to his stupid "Open Border" policy.
7. Moved the capital city of Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. No other US Presidents ever dared enough to do this.
8. Stopped the massacre of Rohingya Moslems by Buddhist Myanmar
9. Forbade the use of Chinese products in all 5G networks in America
10. Pushed US companies to produce 5G and 6G telecommunication products
And don't forget, he did all of these with a lot of distractions for the whole 4 years (2 impeachments, Fake Russion Collusion Accusation, Steele Dossier, Mueller Investigation, Deadly Virus released by democRATs and China, Racial chaos executed by the democRATs to take down Trump, etc. etc.)
