Ok, it's come to my attention a bunch of people are commenting "Akari stole Starlight Queen from Ichigo!" and "Akari copied Ichigo!" AND "I hate Akari for replacing Ichigo!" Ichigo was never the Starlight Queen, got it? She was a top idol. Ichigo can't and will never be the Starlight Queen because she's in the High School division, and they aren't allowed to audition for Starlight Queen. Top Idol is a much higher position than Starlight Queen, and you guys are complaining over how Akari is now in a "Higher Position" which apparently translates to her being better than Ichigo. Top Idol basically means she's the best in the school. With Akari "copying" Ichigo, I feel like everyone who has commented that hasn't paid attention to the story at all. Akari looked up to Ichigo and loved her, so she wanted to be just like her. Akari grew her hair so it could be as long as Ichigo's, and then when Akari realized she needed to be her own idol, she cut her hair. Have you ever heard of a senpai? That's what Ichigo was to Akari. With Akari replacing Ichigo, it had to happen. They need to give the voice actors breaks. The girls all have a life outside Aikatsu, and those girls have to live their life. The same thing is going to happen to Aikatsu Stars when Yume leaves. Also keep in mind, Ichigo was still addressed as a main character, she just never appeared so much. Hopefully this got my point across.
