Finally got this done today and I came to thank you for the tip of farming Hyper Crystal. I ended up getting to Level Ultra by doing that, didn't even have to go to the Frozen City. It only took me what, 5 hours? Thankfully I never have to play hardmode again, good riddance.
Question, did you go to any sub areas? (vaults or sewers) cuz I know that yv's crib chests can contain weapons 6 areas ahead, but idk of that's modified by the hardmode reduced weapon table (weapon drops scale slower) Id like to avoid frozen city when I do this but idk if its possible
so you do need to play hardmode, but don’t need crown of guns to get these weapons? YV’s ultra has a chance to give them to you? is hardmode necessary? (because no one likes it) edit: nevermind I finally did it without the crown of guns, thank fuck. got to loop one in hardmode. no more hardmode needed oh my lord. golden nuke launcher my beloved

Thanks! I'm gonna use this to try and unlock the good riddance achievment, chosing the open mind mutation is something i would have never tought of
