Its a disgrace from Apple that the headphones or speakers must be from Apple. It worked for 3rd party headphones and speakers with IOS 13.1 and then they removed the ability to do dual bluetooth when they released IOS 13.2. Disgraceful on Apples part.

It's a real shame. I can do this with my Samsung but I cant do it on my very expensive brand new iPad Pro because I don't use those ugly airpods... I'm so fucked up.

Please update your title. This method does not work for brands other than Apple and Beats. Your title is a bit misleading.

You state the fact close to 1:22 mark. This means after watching 29% of your clip content, majority of the viewers realise that this is not meant for them and UA-cam counts that as a view. So your title is more of a click bait for most of the viewers, please consider changing it.

I updated to 13.4, and it isn’t working since then... I used to connect Beats Solo and Powerbeats 3...

This is a scam. It should work on any pair of wireless headphones, but Apple decided that it would only support their own. Back in the day, you only needed to plug a splitter into the headphone jack to share music with any pair of wired headphones, or alternatively, a bluetooth transmitter that could be paired with any two wireless headphones. They put as many barriers as possible around the consumer and they're calling it a feature.
Welcome to the Apple world, buying any Apple product is signing in to this kind of company policies

Its not work on ISO 16.1.1. And any features available to change setting, 2 Bluetooth devise are connected but work only one at same time time.
Does this work for audio output as well? For example, if I have a video chat on my iPhone - if we connect two sets of headphones would the audio from both people speaking be picked up on the video chat?

Hello, this is amazing! I was wondering if you would know if I can connect Bluetooth hearing-aid, and AirPods at the same time... My daughter started using a hearing aid on her right side and enjoys that she can connect to her phone like AirPods, but she doesn't use a hearing aid on her left. So we were trying to figure out to connect both. What I understood from your video is that we can use multiple applied brand headphones only. This was taken in 2019 so was hoping you may know more and maybe possible to connect different brand hearing devices.
I just tried it with my AirPods, and my Bluetooth JBL speaker and I could not connect them both. Only 1 at a time. I hope I could still be of help 9 months later
I suspect it works starting with Powerbeats 3 and later. have IOS 13.5.1 IPAD 9.7, both Powerbeats wireless earphones (2 & 3) appear in the control center with one of the earphones checked off. However the "Share Audio" option only appears when the Powerbeats 3 is checked.

I need major help! I just switched to apple from Android…. I use a Bluetooth ear piece and I use my cars Bluetooth for music. On my Galaxy I was able to have my music in the car and calls would go to my ear piece, no need to switch device on every call. How can I do that on iPhone?

Disconnect from Bluetooth then repair had the same problem.
Does the beats model matter? Can you play the original studio beats (dual) to iphone even though they were owed by dre before apple took over?

This does not work if you are streaming to two bluetooth speakers .. Only works for headphones and earpods .. i think the limitation on device type is unnecessary

Yes! They’ve worked before together, but they have this feature where if you only want to use one at a time they pair separately and only one works at a time.. and I can’t get it back so that they will both work at the same time. They’re BALFER wireless earbuds
