- (Feb. 20, 2021) Swedish heavyweight contender Otto Wallin (22-1, 14 KOs) continued his rise in the division with a unanimous decision over former world title challenger Dominic Breazeale (20-3, 18 KOs). The judges scored the fight 117-111, 116-112 and 118-110.
The veteran Breazeale, whose only previous two losses came to unified champion Anthony Joshua and former WBC titlist Deontay Wilder, showed signs of ring rust after a 21-month layoff. He started slowly and it was Wallin who was able to get his offense on track early and often. The southpaw Wallin landed a huge left hand that caused swelling over Breazeale’s right eye in the fifth round. He out-jabbed Breazeale 103 to 37 and landed more than twice the number of power shots than Breazeale did (129-54).
Wallin, who constantly stated his desire to move past the Tyson Fury fight that he nearly won in 2019 in the pre-fight leadup, earned the most impressive win of his career in his second appearance at the Mohegan Sun “Fight Sphere."

Wallin certainly is one of the most underrated boxer in the boxingworld.
He should have won against fury as he fury had that massive cut but the ref couldn’t call it as fury is the cash cow

Thats because it was lockdown during that time, no crowd. Pbc is actually the worst. It takes forever for them to upload the whole fight and they only produce 1 or 2 min highlights of the fight.
Why in the world did it take 18 months for this fight to be uploaded. At least they could've given us more than 1 minute of highlights back at the time, jesus.

Nice fight Wallin looked pretty shap. Dominique's face looked pretty swollen. I sure hope Wallin gets that fight with Joshua. That would be interesting.

I don't know how they gave Breazele even a round. Wallin controlled him with just the southpaw jab, ring generalship all night. It was a cake walk, didn't even leave first gear.

Wallin has the cleanest punches in the division and the highest percentage of punches that connect, though not always so hard. In fact similar to Alexander Usyk's straight lefts and rights.
there was a resemblance with Usyk with the right jab and angling towards the right
BREAZEALE Ain't been right since WILDER & JOSHUA Kicked his ass. Now he just shows up to religh on his heavyweight power to get lucky. No ambition. No tenacity. No fight plan. A walking shell of a fighter.... he could have been so much better. 🤷♂️
He’s always been this way. He is big, slow and plodding. He only has success when someone stands in front of him and trades punches and even then…

Breazele was not prepared and looked very lazy. He's the slowest heavy weight I watched and I would never watch another fight with him. I was hoping he got knocked out very early. Boring...

Breazeale's always been trash which is why Wilder ended him in 1, and AJ toyed with him until he finished him. Breazeale's had tough fights with Fred Kassi and Amir Mansour so of course Wallin was gonna beat him easily.

wallin took off the last round he knew he won breazeal look slow to much weight to carry around he needs to drop off 35 pounds falling on the campus looks bad tired.
l disagree because he can't carry that weight no more if he was lighter he would've been faster and can dance better and he would've won the fight he to slow

Facts!!
When you watch a lot of the lighter weights fight, the heavyweights start looking like sloths. You be sittin' thinking "what's waiting so long for you to punch??". This beat down was worse than Usyk/Joshua.

The problem Dominic is having somehow he decided to hire a BUM in Abel Sanchez. Abel Sanchez is a C - trainer. GGG " said Abel Sanchez wasted years teaching him nothing. GGG " was highly disgusted with Abel Sanchez. Just look at the way Dominic looks, nothing but 210 % blubber.
Dominic should've hired Eddy Reynoso. You wouldn't see the blubber , and he would've Won the fight.

I never bothered watching this cause people said “it sucked” should have known better. Good fight. Good boxing first few rounds then good performance by Otto. Wallin is legit.
The problem with this fight was they never let Breazeale sit down enough if that happens the legs become very week. We all knows how that feels from working we have to sit for a few minutes. Great fight
