It’s been a year and my vachetta leather still looks great!!!! I know there are different opinions on using Apple Guard Spray, but I love it! Loved the video!! 💕 😊

I know how nervous I was the first time I used Apple Guard... you did great! Your vachetta will patina, but spraying it will help to avoid those dreaded water marks if caught in the rain!
The apple guard works wonderful. You will LOVE it. The price is worth it to keep your investment pieces looking super clean. They will still lightly patina.
I ended up spraying both my Pochette Metis, and my LV Laureate Platform boots with the Apple Guard because of the suede on the boots. Helps me feel a little more confident if I get caught in the rain.

I find myself checking the weather and not being able to use it as often as I would like. I love it but was thinking of selling it for a damier ebene GM neverfull. Does appleguard actually work? I would have sprayed the piping too. It looks like you got some spray on the canvas near the handles and based on your inspection, it looks like everything was fine. Could you have sprayed the entire bag?

Why didn't you spray the piping? Years ago I sprayed all my LV bags that have vachetta on them. I used Apple Brand Garde Rain & Stain Water Repellent and to this day there is nothing wrong with my bags. I just held my bag up outside, as the spray stinks, shook the can and sprayed all over my bag, canvas and everything. That was back in 2016 and they are still perfect.
Ooh you never use the Bag before using it. ALWAYS USE the apple bag before you put your hands on it. That will keep it super pristine. I just got a LV Iena MM WIRH VACHETTA and I’m doing the treatment twice before using. Love your videos! Keep up the great vids. ❤️❤️
I’ve sprayed my preloved pieces just as a precaution, it’s still fine to do even when they are used. But I totally get what you’re saying, if it’s new then use the Garde right away
it does dry out the leather!!! and yes Louis Vuitton employees never recommend anything that would potentially modify the original item it’s normal for them to advise against it! i still use apple garde at my own discretion

Not true. They replaced my defective pochette Métis without question and I had sprayed with apple guard.
