    Does Shamrock have heat with WWE or something? I can't imagine any other reason that he isn't in the HoF. He accomplished way more than a lot of other inductees. The guy was pretty much the top midcarder during the Attitude Era.

      Shamrock has MAJOR heat with Triple H. I forget the details of the actual incident (but it is detailed in a Shamrock shoot interview I saw on UA-cam a few years ago... it might still be on UA-cam) but Triple H was being a HUGE, HUGE ultra mega jerk towards Shamrock and others and Shamrock got fed up with him and put him in his place (he didn't hit him, but he stood up to him in a very firm way. With Austin as the top babyface, Shamrock's best shot was as a heel, and early 1999 showed he was pretty damn good in the role. Austin was actually pretty short of top heels to work with in 98 and 99, so a feud with Shamrock instead of wrestling The Undertaker at like 8 different PPV's would've been ideal.

    • @MFD00MTR33
      @MFD00MTR33 2 роки тому

      His problem was timing. He got in the WWF right when Austin was getting hot, Rock and Mick Foley were on the rise to the top, Taker was still there and Kane and HHH were becoming main even here as well. Maybe if he got there in 96 he could've feuded with Bret and Shawn and maybe even have a short title run.

    markyd you should try and find MJF's promo from last nights dynamite. i think its the type of thing you would dig. its very similar to Scott Steiner's TNA promos; talkin about how the wrestlers care about their "star ratings" and doing flips vs being a real draw.

      MJF didn't back it up with empirical mathematical proof, unlike booty-daddy. How can you believe him without proof? 😉🤣

    Also it IS kinda odd seeing MarkyD do The Voice for the first time.😅
    Always knew it probably looked funny when he's talking like that because it looks funny when I try to talk like that.
    Really been enjoying the content ever since i found the channel, keep it up.

      I didn't know ICP had a run on NWA/TNA. NWA/TNA wasn't on cable tv where I lived so I missed it until it turned into TNA Impact.
      I only saw ICP in WWF and later on WCW, so I thought they disappeared after that.
      Does anyone know where I could buy or download all the early NWA/TNA PPVs in WWE network like quality?

    • @PuertoRicanChuckles
      @PuertoRicanChuckles 2 роки тому +1

      @@marccaselle8108 Yeah back when they were a part of Nwa/TNa was when they would have weekly PPVs for $10. It was actually quality and having ICP a part of it made it easier to spend plus they were approx. 3hrs every week
      Yeah i am interested in finding them too. I recorded them on VHS bit have no idea where those are at the moment
