The first time I ever surfed (kneeboarded) Wild Hook in 1970, it was 6' to 8', with nobody out. Some of the rides were peeling almost all the way to the next spot, which was called Shark Cove? or something like that. I had to jump into the water off the cliff. To get out of the water, I wound up riding several waves to finally come in at Capitola Pier. When I later checked a tide chart, I laughed to see that I had gone out on one of the highest tides of the year. Eventually, Sewer Peak became one of my favorite spots.

Honestly, I would not even be able to call your video rideable waves. Great for beginners, though.
