I don't know why, my only guess is because I didn't watch the whole video, but if that is dumb because sometimes only part of a video is relevant. Im with you I've sailed on the panorama many times with the fttf and we never get on before noon. I dont know what that guy was talking about saying he gets on by 11am i suppose it could be true but we've never seen that happen.
@pedrozatravel I guess but we been going there for 15 years we've also done the faster to the fun and it's always after 11am unless there's something we're doing wrong. We're going again in two weeks I'll have to look more closely this time.

OMG Pedroza Travel I can't believe at the end when you mentioned about if these tips are dumb, I think that they are handy, both me and my wife will be going on our very 1st cruise this year, going on a P&O cruise and the ship is called Ventura we did have to pay for a inside cabin through but can't wait for this adventure anyway a big thumbs up from me to you as well as my subscription to your UA-cam channel as well David owner and founder of dave's adventures from England

Not too bad, the terminal in long Beach is always busy on port days but we were able to find a spot fast. I like coming in the afternoon because I don't have to wait on the boarding process.

If you have fttf you will get a 10 am arrival time and you will still have to wait in the dome, the problem is they can't let you get on the ship until all the other passengers leave, and the other passengers can stay as late t 11:15 am and it takes them like 15 minutes to get off, so the earliest you will get on no matter what is 11:30 am, but it will probably be 12 or 12:15 PM. The nice thing about fttf though is they do have a special line for you when boarding is called.
The only things I disagree with in your video is 1) early arrival and boarding. In Long Beach we always get early arrival times, find no lines and check in. You say that you won’t get on the ship until 12:30? Wrong, boarding starts at 11:00, and most of the time we’re on board between 11:00 and 11:15. 2) my go to for lunch every day is Guys Burgers. On embarkation day there’s no line at 11:30 but if there is it moves fast: during the cruise I try and get there before they open to beat the lines, and if it’s busy no problem I’ll come back a little later
Good for you I have never seen anyone,not even Platininum get on the Panorama before 12:20 p.m. Could be you were going on an off season week, but the last people of the previous cruise are getting off at 11 am so you are probably not going to get on by 11:30, more so now that they are arriving in port later. Standard procedure is anyone before 12 pm gets processed and they have to wait in the dome, but again , if you are going on an off season week it is possible things work out faster for you. .

I have others from Radiance last April and December when we were boarding around 11:30. We understand that the Panorama is having propulsion issues currently so there’s delays in the ship getting back and boarding the next group. We’re checked in for June 24 and the first arrival time was 11:00-11:30 so we’re well aware that we’re boarding later this time. I’m guessing noon at the earliest but most likely a little later then that

I was surprised by your video and posts on Facebook where people complain about long lines at the port w/ traffic and check in while we’ve never experienced anything like that. When the ships get in on time and everything is on schedule Long Beach is a great port. It’s when something happens like a late arrival for the ship and people ignoring the texts and emails to disregard chosen arrival times and arrive an hour or two later that causes delays. We’re platinum and have 11:00-11:30 arrival. We’re thinking about showing up around 9:30 - 10:00, drop luggage then take a seat outside the dome to wait for the doors to open, let’s see what happens

I agree, I have been to Long Beach many times, and have never seen anyone get on the ship before 11 am, but I suppose it could happen.

How was the car line to get into terminal at that time? usually very long at 10-10:30, opted for 1:30-2
