Had the pleasure to watch and listen to James performing live at Mysteryland 2023. The set consisted of non-stop energy, the trick that you showed is a fundamental building block for his sets and it used all over the place.
To be honest his sets are mostly copy-paste tricks which work really well. Like you said he spend many many hours in practicing these tricks and transitions.
However if you attend 2 festivals / parties where James Hype is playing you'll find a lot of similarities if not almost the exact same transitions and tricks. Which does not take the absolute skill away to master said tricks. Huge props to him.

Yeah it sits there by default on these 4 channel mixers and like clicks into place so you know when it’s switched off. Thank you for watching

How come make it on flx 4 ? I put no sound on the second deck lol 😅 I try and no sound came up…
