I'm so Proud of the Students of the world 🌎 who are protesting because what hurts one of us hurts us all.
The agitators, HIGHLY trained, provocateurs , not students, use those well meaning but naive kids like little toys. One would think, with them thinking they are as savvy as they do about the web, they would see it. Psychological warfare by Sophisticated operatives. I am fully in support of our 1st amendment rights. We have them or we have nothing .

Question? If all these protesters are charged for anything & arrested spending time in jail do they lose right to vote?
NO they will NOT lose their voting rights. Peaceful protesting is LEGAL in America. I don't believe all the protesters are students. The fact that the press are NOT allowed by cops speaks volumes!!!
The reporters had to be cleared before the police took down the protesters at the university for the reporters safety.
Now the reporters can go back to the more stable war zones such as Gaza or Ukraine.
Same thing happened at Occupy Wall Street.

I am confused, how is it that felon convicts in most areas are not able to vote because of the past. However how is it possible for trump to be convicted and still hold office?

Yes I do believe many are outside agitators. I also believe those agitators cause student to join in simply because they feel they should. It often has little to do with deep convictions.

There are student activists and then there are just plain activists - those who don’t really believe anything deeply but live and are attracted to chaos, violence and trouble of any kind just for those reasons alone.
Sounds pretty dismissive of young people. Sometimes it is the younger generation who helps show how the establishment has lost its way, like Vietnam.
