- Hey Friends, in todays video I will be reviewing and restyling Barbie Extra #19. When I saw this new release from Barbie I knew I wanted to chop all her hair off and give her some bangs. You did such a fabulous job, she really came out spectacular. One thing that bugged me a little about the base doll was her eyebrow and baby hair coloring the pink really didn’t match the pink they put in the hair. I agree Mattel seems to always find the cheapest way to make dolls especially their clothing. Verse MGA that seems they know they never get away with that rubbish. The idea of this doll is cool. But the design itself is not only cheap, but all over the place for me. Red, vibrant pink, and random placement of patterns (which don't look good at all) just feels like this reddish blob. The cheap execution doesn't help either...

Love the space buns and the bangs. I may do bangs as well but do like the longer hair especially with the bangs. I agree about the boots, I'm definitely painting them some of the details. She hasn't gone on sale yet so still waiting to get her.

I'm really thinking about getting more Barbie but every time I do the quality looks...interesting enough for me to reconsider and stick to Rainbow High. Very good job though, the end result was wild in the best way

I would recommend getting Barbie only for SOME of their fashion pieces and doing made to me rebodies and giving them lol and rainbow high clothes or going to eBay or Etsy or Amazon for handmade pieces. Their shoes aren’t so bad either this specific doll has the best shoe mold out of all barbies imo so I recommend giving Barbie a chance.
Wow I just got her and so doing bangs on her she is even cuter 😍. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the clothes also I was digging the pics when I ordered her she had some frankie vibes going with those boots but yes a little cheap in the outfit but still cute. Really like how she came out. 😀
