Thanks for checking out The Tech Talk. This is a new format I’d like to continue in 2023. As this is the first episode, I’m more that happy with feedback. Please, feel free to share your thoughts down here🎉❤.
Congrats on your success.
Thanks Philip! And double thanks for inspiring so many people such as Sander and myself!
Dude, this is so helpful! Please keep this format coming!
Cheers man! Appreciate it! It will be coming🙏🏼
This type of content is so valuable, thanks and I'll take more!
Thanks a lot. More is coming :-)
Fitting of UA-cam to show me two other ads that Sander did in the pre-rolls!
Haha no way! Thats quite cool to be honest!
Heel tof en leerzaam!
Tof! Fijn dit te horen
Do you talk about how do you get paid for these jobs and the reasoning
Awesome, very interesting and informative. Exited for mext one. Please try to get allways as much as possible bts, shots, storyboards also in the future. This one was perfekt. I saw some other videos like this, but here they talking the whole time and only showing maybe some screenshots and nothing more. So try to stay on your level from this video and maybe above) 👍🏻
Ill try to get even more dope BTS next time! Cheers for the feedback dude!
Mega! Thank you
Pleasure!
Super waardevol!
Thanks Nathan!
Very cool conversation, man. Storytelling is powerful! Gonna check his IG to learn more. Thanks for sharing this video, bro. Keep rocking
Thanks for watching my friend🙏🏼🙏🏼
What do you like to use for the storyboard? Program of choice?
Procreate on Ipad pro!
@@SjoerdWess Looks like an art studio app. You just draw frame by frame, then export each doc. Then import into a storyboard looking structure?
Exactly! Thats usually how it goes!
@@SjoerdWess Good to know, thank you brother!
@@SjoerdWess I would love to see a a breakdown video of that process. Would be so powerful
🙏❤️
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Geweldige video Sjoerd! Erg leerzaam. Hoewel de video lang was, de aandacht bleef wel!
Ik kan niet wachten op de volgende in dit format.
Thanks voor je feedback man. Dit is een heel belangrijk punt! Thanks!
Mooi om het hele proces zo gedetailleerd te mogen zien. Erg leerzaam! Thnx keep up the good work!
Thanks Emiel! Tof dat je het interessant vond!🙏🏼
Kudos for trying a new format, Sjoerd. Overall impression is that the vid was too long and covered too much territory. Limiting content to storyboarding would have been sufficient (trimmed at that), IMO. Other topics all over the map. Split screens for storyboards and footage were effective.
Took me a while to realize you and guest were in the same room - guest hands entering your frame gave it away. Your cap put your eyes in shadow, different from guest. At about 31 min, just as you were introducing footage from next ad, YT started to play an ad; no kidding.
Around 41 min audio sync to lip movement was lost for your guest.
Suggest keeping topic more narrowly focused; holds viewer attention. I wonder what YT specs show for incomplete views compared to your past posts; how many viewers you lost - despite seductive Sunshower bit 😊. Cheers!
Personally I like the longer format! Been listening while being on the road today. However I do agree that it would be useful to put some of the highlights like the storyboarding in shorter video's that might redirect more people to the longer podcast
No way man, the long format is what makes it great!
Cheers Paul! Next time ill keep it down to 1 project! Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
Good feedback! Ill keep it in mind for next episode!
Disagree that the video is too long or covers too much ground. I like the long format thought it was very interesting to see the difference between the projects and especially the difference in approach from the start. These things might be normal for people from the Film school for example, but for me it felt like I could finally get a look behind the scenes of projects with a bigger budget, not just on set but also in preproduction.
