The political landscape in Karnataka's Shivamoga constituency is heating up with a three-way competition. The Saffron Party has put forward B.Y. Raghavendra, son of former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who has previously won the Sikh-Shikamoga seat twice. On the other side, Congress has nominated Geeta Shivarajkumar, whose father, another former Chief Minister, enjoyed significant popularity in Shivamoga.
